Renewals Manager   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Enterprise renewal positions typically lock you into a single product line and a rigid quota. This role breaks that pattern. You will sell across a diverse portfolio of enterprise software — developing sufficient depth in each to defend its value before senior customer stakeholders — and you will accelerate your sales capability in months rather than years as a result.

Trilogy does not measure your success by closed deal counts or lost customer tallies. We evaluate the quality of your execution: the preparedness of your renewal conversations, the clarity with which customers grasp their choices, the effectiveness of your emails in advancing the renewal. Your compensation is fixed, not tied to commission. Discounting is not part of your remit — pricing decisions are not within your control. Your responsibility is to make the product's value self-evident.

You will conduct renewal discussions and manage customer communication for enterprise accounts, articulate AI capabilities alongside Platinum and Prime offerings, and direct customers through our Self-Serve Portal. AI is embedded in your workflow, not simply a discussion topic: you will apply it to opportunity preparation, inbox prioritization, and the refinement of every customer email.

If you prefer mastering a disciplined, high-standard sales methodology over chasing a quota, submit your application now.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting renewal sales conversations with enterprise customers — drawing on Salesforce opportunity records and AI-generated summaries of present and past renewals, establishing the discussion framework, adhering to the prescribed call script and quality standard, and concluding with an explicit, mutually agreed next step
  • Articulating AI features, Platinum, and Prime based on their commercial value, or directing customers to the Self-Serve Portal to review materials independently
  • Drafting customer correspondence that moves the renewal process forward — brief, unambiguous, aligned with playbooks and templates, and refined using AI
  • Executing the full Renewals Cadence and maintaining Salesforce opportunity records with sufficient clarity that someone unfamiliar with the account can immediately understand the renewal status
  • Submitting internal action requests — for quotes, invoices, legal review, support, or escalations — ensuring customers are never left waiting for a commitment you made

What you will NOT be doing

  • Prospecting new accounts or creating fresh lead pipelines
  • Adjusting pricing or offering discounts to secure agreement
  • Conducting courtesy calls, relationship maintenance sessions, or satisfaction check-ins

Key responsibilities

Take ownership of the quality of every renewal discussion and every piece of customer communication associated with your accounts: well-prepared calls, clearly communicated options, outcomes that drive action, and Salesforce records that accurately reflect status. Performance is evaluated against the renewal call quality standard and the AI Opp Cadence Checker report — not against revenue goals.

Candidate requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a CSM or account management role at a software/SaaS/Cloud products company serving Enterprise clients
  • Experience managing the entire renewal cycle — client engagement, value proposition, negotiation, managing paper process, and closing deals worth $100K+
  • Full professional fluency in written and spoken English
  • Experience using AI tools in a professional setting
  • Must be able to work during U.S. business hours

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated success renewing sophisticated, high-value B2B software (SaaS and on-prem) and associated services with large enterprise clients
  • Background selling multiple products across varied verticals or business units
  • Capability to sell value-added services and premium tiers based on business advantage rather than price sensitivity
  • Practical experience with ChatGPT or Claude to enhance the quality and efficiency of customer-facing work
