School Operations Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If you instinctively organize chaos into clear systems, this role will suit you. Alpha serves students who advance quickly, seek intellectual challenge, and thrive on meaningful responsibility. We combine demanding academics with practical life skills and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework so children progress with speed and confidence. We are looking for someone who can transform a dynamic school environment into an efficient, high-functioning operation—every transition, every interaction, every element executed flawlessly.

At our Austin location, you will be the operational backbone that sustains momentum: protecting uninterrupted learning time, maintaining safe and structured daily operations, and removing barriers so Guides can dedicate full attention to mentorship. You will manage facility workflows, front-line technology support, and family communications, building an environment where ambition is standard and self-reliance is cultivated. If you value clear expectations, decisive action, and measurable impact, this role will engage you.

Apply to build a campus where students accelerate, families experience the distinction, and operational rigor is the foundational strength behind everything.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrating the daily schedule with accuracy so 2-Hour Learning sessions begin punctually, remain undisturbed, and conclude effectively.
  • Managing front-line technology requirements (device configuration, initial troubleshooting) and coordinating handoffs to IT when needed.
  • Ensuring a safe, well-ordered campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility preparedness.
  • Communicating with clarity to students, families, and colleagues; resolving issues promptly and recording key decisions.
  • Facilitating campus events—orientation, program milestones, inventory and space coordination—so the site consistently operates at readiness.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering instruction or designing curriculum; Guides own student mentorship while you maintain the operational infrastructure.
  • Working remotely from an office; your role is visible, campus-facing, and directly connected to student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Engaging in administrative tasks that do not enhance speed, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, prepared, and conducive to focus so that students and staff can concentrate on learning and development, not operational distractions.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or another high-service sector.
  • Composed under pressure; proactive problem-solver capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining precision.
  • Proficient with basic IT support and Google Workspace administration.
  • Clear, professional written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (no visa sponsorship available).
