Site Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If you instinctively build structure from complexity, this role will resonate with you. Alpha serves students who accelerate quickly, seek meaningful challenge, and thrive on real accountability. We combine demanding academics with essential life skills and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework so students advance with speed and confidence. We're looking for someone who can transform a dynamic school day into a seamless, high-functioning system—every transition, every interaction, every element precisely aligned.

At our Austin location, you'll be the operational backbone that sustains momentum: protecting time for concentrated learning, maintaining safe and orderly daily operations, and removing friction so Guides can mentor without distraction. You'll oversee facility workflows, front-line technical support, and community correspondence, building an environment where high expectations are standard and self-reliance is cultivated. If you value clear benchmarks, decisive action, and measurable impact, this work will suit you.

Apply to help build a campus where students advance faster, families see tangible results, and operational rigor is the foundation of everything we achieve.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the daily schedule with accuracy so 2-Hour Learning blocks launch on time, remain uninterrupted, and conclude effectively.
  • Providing first-tier technical support (device configuration, basic diagnostics) and managing escalations to IT.
  • Upholding a secure, well-ordered campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor coordination, and facility preparedness.
  • Communicating effectively with students, families, and staff; resolving issues promptly and recording outcomes.
  • Facilitating campus events—onboarding, programs, inventory and space coordination—so the site consistently operates at full readiness.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or designing curriculum; Guides handle student mentorship while you manage operational systems.
  • Working remotely or in isolation; your responsibilities are campus-facing and directly connected to student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Engaging in low-value tasks that don't enhance pace, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, organized, and conducive to focus, enabling students and staff to prioritize learning and development rather than operational concerns.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a comparable high-touch service setting.
  • Composed under pressure; initiative-driven problem-solver who can balance competing demands while maintaining precision.
  • Proficient with foundational IT support and Google Workspace tools.
  • Clear, professional written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship not available).
