Our students have launched million-dollar ventures, created viral content, and developed popular apps. We're seeking a part-time admissions expert to guide these students in showcasing their accomplishments to secure spots at top-tier universities.

In this adaptable remote position (5-10 hours weekly), you'll devise admissions strategies for students undertaking remarkable projects. Your knowledge will aid them in crafting persuasive applications, assist parents in understanding our unique approach, and share success stories that highlight how impactful projects can surpass perfect grades in elite admissions.

What you will be doing

  • Host monthly advisory sessions with students to develop strategies that highlight their projects in college applications.
  • Address inquiries from students and parents about elite college admissions promptly.
  • Engage in information sessions to explain why AlphaX projects surpass conventional academic paths.
  • Keep abreast of trends in elite college admissions and help bolster AlphaX's reputation in the field.
  • Share evidence and success stories that validate our innovative approach.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Adhering to traditional admissions methods that prioritize GPAs and test scores.
  • Working full-time or maintaining fixed availability hours.
  • Handling standard college applications focused on routine extracurriculars.
  • Managing everyday student project tasks.
  • Traveling or attending in-person meetings.

Candidate requirements

  • First-hand experience with elite college admissions, holding a degree from a top 50 US institution.
  • Proven track record in assisting students to gain entry into top 10 colleges through admissions, consulting, or mentoring roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of elite US college admissions, particularly for non-traditional candidates.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with driven students and their families.
