Global Finance Director   $400,000 USD/year

Description

Put your finance expertise to the test by shaping a groundbreaking financial system that supports a billion-dollar education empire. This isn't just another finance role—it's a chance to redefine the landscape of education with Trilogy. We're seeking a visionary who can transform our financial operations into a seamless, AI-driven powerhouse.

In this role, you'll craft a system, not manage a team. Dive deep into tools like NetSuite and Ramp, and pioneer smarter AI solutions to streamline every financial process. If you're ready to delete inefficiencies rather than merely optimize them and believe AI is the future of finance, this is your stage.

Here, you'll not only learn the art of building billion-dollar enterprises but also create and scale the blueprint for future successes.

Are you prepared to revolutionize the world of finance? Apply now.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-centric financial processes to eradicate manual interactions in billing, compliance, and control functions.
  • Developing automation and leveraging LLM tools to replace human tasks within NetSuite, Ramp, and other financial systems.
  • Guaranteeing seamless execution of critical processes such as tuition payments, ESA reimbursements, and audits at scale.
  • Crafting scalable, audit-ready financial flows across diverse educational business lines.
  • Continuously refining financial infrastructure to support billion-dollar business units without increasing workforce.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing a large finance team—this position focuses on systems over people.
  • Overseeing month-end closings or manually approving transactions.
  • Settling for existing ERP workflows—you'll actively seek and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Delegating challenging tasks to juniors—lead through direct action.
  • Operating in a static environment—expect rapid scaling, not maintenance.

Key responsibilities

Create a fully autonomous, AI-powered financial system capable of supporting multiple billion-dollar educational enterprises with zero manual input.

Candidate requirements

  • CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA credentials.
  • Background in finance or accounting in a $100M+ organization.
  • 5+ years at a top 10 global audit firm, or equivalent auditing experience.
  • Proficiency with enterprise ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP.
  • Professional experience with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
  • Reside within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of U.S. K-12 education models including private, charter, and ESA programs.
  • Experience in building finance automation or AI-driven workflows from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with finance operations in multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional businesses.
