Description

We’re looking for a financial sharp-shooter who’s tired of explaining the past and ready to architect the future. If you’ve got the chops to turn a spreadsheet into a strategy weapon and the curiosity to let AI tear down old workflows, this role will feel like home.

IgniteTech isn’t your average software company. We grow through bold acquisitions and real operational reinvention, and then we scale those businesses with precision, data, and speed. This role sits at the nerve center of that machine, using generative AI to help us predict what’s coming, price intelligently, and push back hard on wasteful spend.

This is not a backwards-facing FP&A role. It’s not month-end reporting. It’s not about polishing slide decks for decisions already made. You’ll build live, AI-assisted forecasting models that drive exec planning cycles. You’ll map vendor ROI and force hard calls on what we keep and what we kill. You’ll ship dashboards and insights that make or break product packaging, pricing strategy, and vendor deals. Your work will influence decisions at the portfolio level—think hundreds of millions in revenue.

You’ll sit inside a cross-functional finance and ops team that’s building the system behind smarter enterprise software businesses. What you will be doing

  • Produce dynamic forecasting models that project revenue trends and vendor spend, enabling scenario planning and decision support for pricing, product, and procurement
  • Deliver data-driven analyses that evaluate vendor performance, identify cost and risk opportunities, and support strategic vendor management decisions
  • Create and present executive-ready dashboards and reports that distill complex financial insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership

What you will NOT be doing

  • Spending time on repetitive month-end closing activities
  • Engaging in traditional FP&A tasks that focus on past performance analysis
  • Building presentations for decisions already made

Key responsibilities

Maximize revenue performance and optimize vendor-related spend through sophisticated financial modeling, AI-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidate requirements

  • Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools (LLMs, copilots, automation agents) to accelerate financial work
  • Previous experience with revenue and cost management
