Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

In the fast-paced world of software development, outdated testing methods are holding back innovation, resulting in sluggish release cycles and error-filled products. Industry analyses reveal that more than 60% of software bugs are detected only after launch, costing the industry a staggering $2 trillion annually. The need for speed and reliability in software demands a transformative approach to quality assurance.

IgniteTech is at the forefront of this transformation, pioneering the integration of GenAI tools into the QA process. By leveraging AI to mimic user interactions, create intricate test scenarios, and assess defect trends, we ensure quicker releases with minimal bugs. Joining our team means stepping into the cutting edge of technology, utilizing AI to streamline processes and foresee issues before they arise.

This is not your average QA role. If you seek a routine of manual testing or repetitive automation tasks, look elsewhere. Here, you will spearhead the development and refinement of AI-driven automation frameworks, apply predictive analytics to unearth hidden risks, and influence the future trajectory of software quality. You will craft scalable solutions that meet the challenges of contemporary software development, not just follow outdated protocols. If you're ready to make a significant impact on the future of software, we invite you to apply and join us on this exciting journey.

What you will be doing

  • Design and sustain AI-driven test automation frameworks to produce test cases, scripts, and data for thorough validation.
  • Utilize GenAI tools to scrutinize testing results, detect defect trends, and offer actionable insights for ongoing enhancement.
  • Emulate user scenarios, stress conditions, and edge cases to reveal potential issues before they affect users.

Key responsibilities

  • Employ AI and automation technologies to ensure quicker product launches and reduced product flaws.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a QA automation role.
  • Expertise in Selenium and proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools to automate QA processes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
