Lead Product Engineer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Ready to architect the future of educational technology? As a Lead Product Engineer, you'll be the technical cornerstone behind revolutionary AI-powered learning platforms that are changing how students engage with knowledge. This isn't just coding—it's crafting digital experiences that make learning come alive.

Our innovation portfolio includes:

  • TeachTap: The TikTok of education where AI resurrects historical figures for immersive learning
  • TeachTales: Where personalized storytelling magic meets educational outcomes
  • TimeBack: An intelligent learning companion that anticipates student needs across applications
  • Athena: Delivering measurable academic growth through AI-generated content and assessment

We believe in thoughtful engineering over rushed development. Our AI-enhanced workflow eliminates tedious tasks, allowing you to focus on high-impact technical decisions. You'll have the freedom to shape product architecture while ensuring we build for tomorrow, not just today.

If you're an engineer who values autonomy, craves meaningful impact, and wants to pioneer the intersection of AI and education, this role offers the perfect canvas for your technical expertise.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and build transformative features with an eye toward long-term product health and scalability
  • Partner with product teams to translate ambitious visions into technical reality through thoughtful requirement engineering
  • Safeguard product stability through proactive monitoring, performance optimization, and systematic issue resolution
  • Make consequential technical decisions that directly shape user experiences and determine product scalability

What you will NOT be doing

  • Jumping between disconnected projects or chasing fleeting technology trends without strategic purpose
  • Building internal tools or outsourced solutions that never reach real users or create meaningful impact
  • Wasting time in excessive meetings or troubleshooting avoidable infrastructure problems

Candidate requirements

  • Proven full-stack development expertise with minimum 1 year building cohesive front and backend solutions
  • At least 2 years as the technical decision-maker for a SaaS product, making architectural choices that influenced product direction
  • Minimum 4 years working directly on customer-facing SaaS products (not internal systems or outsourced projects)
  • Demonstrated experience integrating generative AI into your development workflow to enhance productivity and outcomes
