AlphaX helps exceptional high school students build Olympic-level projects that transform their college applications. Our students launch million-dollar businesses, create viral documentaries, and develop apps used by thousands. We're looking for a part-time college admissions expert to help our students leverage these achievements to get into elite universities.

In this flexible remote role (5-10 hours/week), you'll shape college admissions strategies for students who build extraordinary projects. Your expertise will help them craft compelling college applications, guide parents through our proven approach, and share success stories of how world-changing work beats perfect grades for elite university admission.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct monthly advising sessions with students to create clear strategies for leveraging their projects in college applications
  • Provide timely responses to student and parent questions about elite college admissions
  • Participate in info sessions to articulate why AlphaX projects outperform traditional academic paths
  • Stay current on elite college admissions trends and help establish AlphaX's credibility in the space
  • Share proof points and success stories that validate our revolutionary approach

What you will NOT be doing

  • Following rigid traditional admissions playbooks focused solely on GPAs and test scores
  • Working full-time hours or maintaining strict availability
  • Handling standard college applications focused on basic extracurriculars
  • Managing day-to-day student project work
  • Traveling or working in-person

Key responsibilities

Transform how top students get into elite colleges by proving that real-world impact through exceptional projects is more compelling than perfect academic credentials.

Candidate requirements

  • First-hand experience navigating elite college admissions with a degree from a top 50 US university
  • Experience helping students get into top 10 colleges through admissions, consulting, or mentoring roles
  • Deep understanding of elite US college admissions, especially for non-traditional applicants
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with ambitious students and parents
  • Currently located in North America
  • Available to work 5 - 10 hours per week, including live calls with parents and students
