Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

Great schools don’t just happen in classrooms. They happen because someone is making sure everything around the classroom works—quietly, consistently, and with care.

Montessorium is a thoughtfully designed learning environment where children, families, and educators thrive together. Our approach requires more than academic excellence. It requires operations that feel steady, safe, and human. This role exists to ensure the campus functions at that level every day.

In this role, you are responsible for the non-academic life of the campus. You support families through clear communication, protect student well-being through strong safety practices, keep facilities and logistics running smoothly, and ensure technology supports learning rather than interrupting it. You are the connective tissue between parents, Guides, and systems.

This is not a narrow administrative role. It is hands-on, people-facing, and constantly evolving. If you enjoy variety, take pride in service, and want your work to directly improve the daily experience of children and families, this role offers meaningful ownership and impact.

What you will be doing

  • Building strong relationships with parents, students, and staff through clear, timely, and thoughtful communication
  • Managing campus safety operations including access procedures, incident documentation, drills, and parent coordination
  • Overseeing daily campus logistics such as attendance processes, facilities support, transportation coordination, and office operations
  • Supporting onboarding and training for new staff to ensure smooth integration into campus systems and culture
  • Managing student devices and campus technology, serving as the on-site point of contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching or supporting classroom instruction
  • Designing curriculum or coaching Guides
  • Working in a purely administrative or desk-bound role
  • Operating in a rigid, repetitive environment with narrow responsibilities
  • Deferring ownership of problems instead of seeing them through

Key responsibilities

Ensure the campus operates smoothly, safely, and consistently so students, staff, and families experience Montessorium as calm, well-run, and deeply trustworthy.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (no specific field required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar roles
  • Comfort with basic technology tasks such as device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with parents, staff, and vendors
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Genuine interest in Montessori elementary education
  • Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX, or willingness to relocate
