Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person role located at our San Francisco campus.

Tired of templated schools that cap potential? At Alpha, we’re transforming education for students who outpace the traditional classroom. We’re looking for a driven operator who builds seamless, calm, high-standards systems so exceptional learning can happen—every single day.

Alpha isn’t another private school. We combine rigorous academics with real-world skills and a proven 2-Hour Learning model that helps students learn faster and push beyond typical grade-level timelines. In this role, you’re the operational backbone of our SF campus: you own the flow of the day, protect time for focused learning, and keep every detail tight so Guides can mentor without distractions. You’ll oversee safety, facilities, and basic tech administration while fostering a warm, high-expectation culture for students and families.

If you thrive on clear processes, fast problem-solving, and visible impact, this is your lane. You’ll build a campus experience that feels intentional, efficient, and energizing—where academic ambition is celebrated and independence is trained. Join us to help shape a school where motivated students move faster, grow stronger, and lead with character.

What you will be doing

  • Running daily campus operations end-to-end to keep the 2-Hour Learning schedule on time and interruption-free.
  • Owning front-line tech support (device setup, quick troubleshooting) and coordinating escalations with IT.
  • Building trust with students, families, and staff through crisp communication and consistent follow-through.
  • Implementing and auditing campus safety protocols; managing drills, incident logs, and vendor coordination.
  • Supporting key activities—events, staff onboarding, supplies/facilities management—so the campus always performs at a high bar.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching academics or writing curriculum; Guides lead student mentorship while you drive operational excellence.
  • Working in a back office with little visibility; your work directly improves student outcomes and family experience.
  • Burning time on busywork that doesn’t serve accelerated learning; everything you do is tied to speed, safety, or quality.

Key responsibilities

Own the end-to-end campus operation so our campus runs on time, on standard, and at a level that enables faster learning and exceptional family satisfaction.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (any field)
  • 2+ years managing multi-faceted operations in education, events, hospitality, or a similar high-service environment.
  • Track record of staying calm in crises, taking initiative, and juggling priorities independently.
  • Confidence with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication that builds community trust.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work on-site in San Francisco, CA.
