Description

You know the difference between a meal that’s technically correct and one that makes someone feel truly cared for, and you never settle for the former.

At 2 Hour Learning, we’re hiring for a role that blends your instinct for luxury service, your operational precision, and your obsession with quality into one powerful mandate: deliver a consistently exceptional culinary experience across all campuses for some of the most discerning families in the country.

This isn’t a food ops job where you’re buried in kitchen drama or managing large teams. It’s a solo, high-trust role with national scope. You handpick vendors, audit their execution, and work directly with ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families to ensure the food meets their standards, not just ours. You’ll lead taste tests, call out quality slippage before anyone else notices, and make swift, confident decisions to improve or replace vendors as needed.

At 2 Hour Learning, we’re building an education experience that doesn’t just meet expectations. It anticipates them. Our families expect that same standard from the food we serve. You’ll be the one who makes that possible. If you’ve ever walked into a vendor tasting, spotted the weak link, and walked out with a better plan, this is your moment. Apply now.

What you will be doing

  • Selecting, vetting, and recommending food vendors that meet luxury standards and scale across campuses.
  • Conducting taste tests, spot checks, and in-person quality reviews to catch and resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Translating UHNW family expectations into clear vendor requirements and verified service plans.
  • Building proactive improvement plans using structured metrics, not just reacting to complaints.
  • Maintaining a central vendor knowledge base with decisions, rationales, and rollout plans.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing kitchen teams or handling day-to-day food service operations.
  • Being constrained by rigid processes; you’ll operate with autonomy and judgment.
  • Settling for “compliant” food that misses on taste, presentation, or satisfaction.
  • Working behind the scenes without customer insight; you’ll speak directly with families.
  • Waiting for problems to escalate; your job is to spot them first and fix them fast.

Key responsibilities

Ensure every family receives a high-trust, high-satisfaction meal experience through strategic vendor partnerships, exceptional quality control, and direct engagement with parent expectations.

Candidate requirements

  • 5+ years in food service, catering, or hospitality operations with direct vendor responsibility.
  • Experience serving UHNW clients and managing dietary complexity (gluten-free, kosher, vegan, etc.).
  • Proven ability to evaluate food quality in person and travel up to 75%.
  • Track record of managing escalations and implementing preemptive service improvements.
  • Based in the US and eligible to work without visa sponsorship.
