Campus Operations Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

Exceptional schools extend beyond classrooms. They function because someone ensures all supporting systems operate reliably, consistently, and thoughtfully.

Montessorium is a purposefully designed learning environment where students, families, and educators flourish together. Our model demands more than strong academics. It demands operations that feel dependable, secure, and genuinely human. This position exists to maintain the campus at that standard daily.

In this position, you oversee the non-instructional life of the campus. You serve families through transparent communication, safeguard student welfare through robust safety protocols, maintain facilities and logistics in smooth operation, and ensure technology enables learning instead of disrupting it. You are the bridge connecting parents, Guides, and operational systems.

This is not a limited clerical position. It is practical, interactive, and continuously adapting. If you appreciate diversity in your work, value service excellence, and seek work that tangibly enhances the daily experience of children and families, this position provides substantial ownership and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Developing robust relationships with parents, students, and staff through transparent, prompt, and considerate communication
  • Overseeing campus safety functions including entry protocols, incident recording, emergency drills, and family coordination
  • Supervising daily campus operations such as attendance tracking, facility maintenance support, transportation logistics, and front-office functions
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for new staff to guarantee seamless integration into campus procedures and culture
  • Administering student devices and campus technology, acting as the on-site liaison and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching or assisting with classroom instruction
  • Creating curriculum or mentoring Guides
  • Working in a strictly administrative or office-confined position
  • Functioning in a fixed, routine environment with limited scope
  • Delegating problem ownership rather than driving resolution

Key responsibilities

Ensure the campus functions smoothly, safely, and reliably so students, staff, and families experience Montessorium as composed, well-managed, and profoundly trustworthy.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (no specific field required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar roles
  • Comfort with basic technology tasks such as device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with parents, staff, and vendors
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Genuine interest in Montessori elementary education
  • Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX, or willingness to relocate
