Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

Strong schools are built on more than instruction. They depend on someone ensuring that everything surrounding the classroom operates reliably, steadily, and with intention.

Montessorium is a carefully designed learning space where students, families, and educators flourish together. Our model demands more than academic rigor. It demands operations that feel stable, secure, and genuinely supportive. This position exists to keep the campus functioning at that standard daily.

In this position, you own the non-instructional life of the campus. You assist families through responsive communication, safeguard student welfare through rigorous safety protocols, maintain facilities and operational flow, and ensure technology enables learning instead of disrupting it. You serve as the link between families, Guides, and infrastructure.

This is not a limited administrative position. It is active, interpersonal, and continuously changing. If you value diversity of tasks, find purpose in service, and want your contributions to tangibly enhance the everyday experience of children and families, this role provides real ownership and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Cultivating positive relationships with parents, students, and staff through responsive, timely, and considerate communication
  • Overseeing campus safety operations including entry protocols, incident reporting, emergency drills, and family coordination
  • Managing daily campus operations such as attendance tracking, facility maintenance support, transportation logistics, and front office functions
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for new staff to ensure seamless integration into campus procedures and culture
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, acting as the on-site contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching or assisting with classroom instruction
  • Creating curriculum or mentoring Guides
  • Working in a strictly administrative or office-only capacity
  • Functioning in a static, repetitive setting with limited scope
  • Passing off responsibility for issues rather than resolving them

Key responsibilities

Ensure the campus functions smoothly, safely, and reliably so students, staff, and families encounter Montessorium as composed, well-managed, and profoundly dependable.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (no specific field required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar roles
  • Comfort with basic technology tasks such as device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with parents, staff, and vendors
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Genuine interest in Montessori elementary education
  • Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX, or willingness to relocate
