Operations Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

This role is not about running a school—it's about ensuring the school runs smoothly and expands. If you can seamlessly transition from conducting a parent tour to coordinating a safety drill to resolving a technical issue while maintaining professionalism, this position is for you.

You will serve as both the operational backbone and the admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus. Your scope includes everything beyond the classroom walls and everything that brings families through our doors. You'll deliver compelling tours that lead to enrollment, nurture prospective families with strategic follow-ups, and oversee the admissions pipeline. Simultaneously, you'll ensure campus operations flow smoothly: managing daily logistics, facilities maintenance, vendor relationships, technology coordination, and upholding the safety standards that parents expect.

Montessorium operates as a Montessori elementary school (K-6) that integrates traditional hands-on materials and instruction with advanced technology. We support this approach through well-defined systems, mutual trust, and team members who embrace full accountability. This is a salaried, full-time, on-campus position with benefits included. If you're the dependable presence families count on and the organized operator who ensures everything works seamlessly, we'd like to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Lead family tours designed to convert interest into enrollment, craft personalized follow-up communications, and oversee the admissions pipeline toward enrollment goals
  • Respond to inquiries within a 24-hour window, identify and resolve obstacles, and guide families with confidence through the decision process
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct drills, record incidents thoroughly, and ensure compliance standards are consistently met
  • Manage day-to-day logistics, oversee facilities maintenance, coordinate vendor services, and act as the main point of contact for technology support
  • Organize and execute open houses and campus events that present Montessorium through a professional, inviting lens
  • Provide short-term supervision of K–6 students (ages 5–13) during staffing transitions—this includes monitoring recess, managing transitions, and basic classroom oversight. This is supervisory coverage, not teaching.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction, tutoring, or teaching students
  • Creating or altering curriculum or academic programming
  • Remaining desk-bound throughout the workday
  • Routing every technology problem to others
  • Adhering to a strict 9–5 schedule. Certain student activities and events occur outside standard hours or on weekends

Key responsibilities

Sustain consistent enrollment momentum and provide a secure, professional campus environment that builds family confidence and allows our educators to concentrate on student learning outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Interest in Montessori elementary education (previous familiarity is valued but not required)
  • Demonstrated experience in admissions or enrollment roles, including direct interaction with parents and students
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to resolve challenges autonomously
  • Outstanding communication abilities and high emotional intelligence
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work on-site in Cedar Park, TX or readiness to relocate
