School Operations Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

You won't be running a school. Your job is to ensure it runs smoothly and expands. If you can transition seamlessly from conducting a parent tour to executing a safety drill to resolving a tech issue—all while maintaining composure—this role is designed for you.

Serving as both the operational backbone and the admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus, you'll manage everything beyond the classroom walls and everything that brings families through the door. You'll conduct tours designed to convert prospects, follow up with care to nurture leads, and monitor the enrollment pipeline. You'll also maintain campus operations: day-to-day logistics, facility management, vendor relations, technology coordination, and the safety standards parents count on.

Montessorium is a Montessori elementary program (K-6) that blends tactile materials and instruction with advanced technology. We support that environment with transparent systems, deep trust, and team members who own their work. This is a full-time, on-campus, salaried position with benefits. If you're the reliable presence families depend on and the operator who makes everything function, let's talk.

What you will be doing

  • Lead family tours that result in enrollment, tailor follow-up communications, and oversee the admissions pipeline toward enrollment goals
  • Respond to inquiries within 24 hours, identify and address obstacles, and guide families with confidence toward commitment
  • Implement safety protocols and drills, record incidents, and ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Manage daily operations, facility maintenance, vendor relationships, and act as the main point of contact for technology support
  • Organize and facilitate open houses and campus events that present Montessorium through a professional, inviting lens
  • Provide temporary supervision for K–6 students (ages 5–13) during staffing shortages—activities like recess monitoring, transition support, and basic classroom oversight. This is support, not teaching.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering lessons, tutoring, or providing academic instruction to students
  • Creating curriculum or altering academic programs
  • Spending the entire day at a desk
  • Escalating every technology problem
  • Working a fixed 9–5 schedule. Some student activities and events require evening or weekend availability

Key responsibilities

Generate consistent enrollment growth and provide a secure, professional campus environment that builds family confidence and allows our guides to concentrate on educational excellence.

Candidate requirements

  • Interest in Montessori elementary education (prior experience preferred, not required)
  • Demonstrated admissions or enrollment experience, including direct interaction with parents and students
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to resolve problems autonomously
  • Outstanding communication abilities and high emotional intelligence
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Available to work on-site in Cedar Park, TX or willing to relocate
