Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

Exceptional schools are built on more than what happens inside the classroom. They depend on someone ensuring that everything supporting the classroom operates smoothly—reliably, thoughtfully, and with attention to detail.

Montessorium is a carefully crafted learning environment where students, families, and educators flourish together. Our model demands more than strong academics. It demands operational systems that feel reliable, secure, and centered on people. This position exists to maintain that standard across campus each day.

In this position, you own the operational side of campus life beyond academics. You engage families through effective communication, safeguard student welfare through rigorous safety protocols, maintain facility and logistical efficiency, and ensure that technology enhances rather than disrupts learning. You serve as the link connecting parents, Guides, and operational systems.

This is not a limited clerical position. It is practical, interpersonal, and dynamic. If you value diverse responsibilities, find satisfaction in service, and seek work that tangibly improves the daily lives of children and families, this role provides real ownership and meaningful influence.

What you will be doing

  • Cultivating productive relationships with parents, students, and staff through responsive, clear, and considerate communication
  • Overseeing campus safety functions including entry protocols, incident reporting, emergency drills, and family coordination
  • Coordinating daily campus operations such as attendance tracking, facility maintenance support, transportation logistics, and front office functions
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation for new team members to facilitate seamless integration into campus workflows and culture
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, acting as the primary on-site contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing students or assisting with classroom teaching
  • Developing curriculum or providing coaching to Guides
  • Performing exclusively administrative tasks or staying confined to a desk
  • Working within a static, routine-driven environment with limited scope
  • Passing off problems to others rather than taking ownership through resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain smooth, safe, and consistent campus operations so that students, staff, and families experience Montessorium as composed, well-managed, and fully reliable.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or related areas
  • Proficiency with foundational technology tasks including device configuration, troubleshooting, and account management
  • Effective written and spoken communication abilities with parents, staff, and external vendors
  • Strong organizational skills with capacity to juggle competing priorities
  • Authentic enthusiasm for Montessori elementary education
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work on-site in Cedar Park, TX, or readiness to relocate
