School Operations Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

This position isn't about running a school—it's about ensuring the school runs smoothly and expands. If you can move seamlessly between leading a parent tour, coordinating a safety drill, and troubleshooting a technical issue while maintaining composure, this role fits you.

As the operational core and admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus, you'll manage everything beyond the classroom and everything that brings families through our doors. You'll conduct tours that close, follow up with prospective families thoughtfully, and monitor the enrollment pipeline. You'll also maintain campus operations: day-to-day logistics, facility management, vendor relationships, technology support, and the safety standards that parents depend on.

Montessorium is a K-6 Montessori elementary program that blends traditional hands-on materials and instruction with modern technology. We support this approach with transparent systems, mutual trust, and team members who embrace accountability. This is a salaried, full-time, on-site position with benefits. If you're the reliable presence families count on and the operator who ensures everything functions smoothly, we'd like to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct family tours that lead to enrollment, customize follow-up communications, and oversee the admissions pipeline toward enrollment goals
  • Respond to inquiries within 24 hours, identify and resolve obstacles, and guide families with confidence toward commitment
  • Implement safety protocols and drills, record incidents, and ensure strict compliance standards
  • Manage daily logistics, facility maintenance, vendor partnerships, and act as the main point of contact for technology matters
  • Organize and facilitate open houses and campus events that present Montessorium through a professional, inviting experience
  • Provide coverage during short-term staffing shortages by supervising K–6 students (ages 5–13)—including recess monitoring, transitions, and basic classroom management. This is supervision, not teaching.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching, tutoring, or delivering academic instruction to students
  • Creating curriculum or altering academic programs
  • Spending your entire day at a desk
  • Passing every technology problem to someone else
  • Working a strict 9–5 schedule. Some student activities and events occur after hours or on weekends

Key responsibilities

Support consistent enrollment growth and provide a secure, professional campus environment that builds family confidence and allows our guides to concentrate on educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Interest in Montessori elementary education (prior experience preferred, not required)
  • Demonstrated admissions or enrollment experience, with direct interaction with parents and students
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to solve problems without constant direction
  • Outstanding communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Able to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX or willing to relocate
