Facilities Support Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

You're not here to teach. You're here to ensure the campus operates smoothly and enrollment grows. If you can seamlessly transition from leading a prospective parent tour to coordinating a safety drill to resolving a tech issue—all while maintaining composure—this role is for you.

Serving as both the operational backbone and the admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus, you'll manage everything beyond the classroom and everything that brings families through our doors. You'll conduct tours designed to convert interest into enrollment, follow up thoughtfully with leads, and monitor the pipeline. You'll also maintain campus operations: daily logistics, facility management, vendor relationships, technology coordination, and the safety standards parents depend on.

Montessorium is a K-6 Montessori elementary program that integrates tactile materials and lessons with advanced technology. We support this approach through transparent systems, strong trust, and staff who embrace ownership. This is a full-time, on-campus, salaried position with benefits. If you're the dependable presence families count on and the operator who keeps everything functioning, we'd like to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct family tours with high conversion rates, customize follow-up communications, and oversee the admissions pipeline toward enrollment goals
  • Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, identify and address obstacles, and guide families with confidence toward enrollment
  • Implement safety procedures and drills, record incidents, and ensure complete regulatory compliance
  • Manage daily logistics, facility maintenance, vendor relationships, and act as the main technology contact
  • Organize and facilitate open houses and campus events that present Montessorium through a professional, inviting experience
  • Provide temporary supervision for K–6 students (ages 5–13) during brief staffing shortages—activities like recess monitoring, transitions, and basic classroom oversight. This is support coverage, not teaching.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction, tutoring, or teaching students
  • Creating curriculum or altering academic programming
  • Remaining at a desk throughout the day
  • Routing every technology problem to others
  • Working a fixed 9–5 schedule. Certain student activities and events occur outside standard hours or on weekends

Key responsibilities

Achieve consistent enrollment growth and provide a secure, professional campus environment that builds family confidence and allows our guides to concentrate on educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Interest in Montessori elementary education (previous knowledge preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated admissions or enrollment experience, including direct interaction with parents and students
  • Solid ownership mindset and the ability to resolve problems independently
  • Outstanding communication abilities and high emotional intelligence
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Available to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX or prepared to relocate
