Facilities Support Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

You're not here to manage a school. You're here to keep it running and expanding. If you can pivot seamlessly from conducting a parent tour to coordinating a safety drill to resolving a tech issue—all while maintaining composure—this role is for you.

Serving as the operational backbone and admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus, you'll manage everything beyond the classroom and everything that brings families through the door. You'll conduct tours that lead to enrollment, maintain leads through purposeful follow-ups, and monitor the pipeline. You'll also ensure the campus operates smoothly: daily operations, facilities management, vendor relations, tech support, and the safeguarding standards parents depend on.

Montessorium is a Montessori elementary program (K-6) blending hands-on materials and lessons with advanced technology. We support that approach with transparent systems, high trust, and adults who assume ownership. This is a full-time, on-site, salaried position with benefits. If you're the reliable presence families count on and the operator who ensures everything functions seamlessly, we'd like to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct family tours that result in enrollment, customize follow-ups, and oversee the admissions funnel toward enrollment goals
  • Respond to inquiries within 24 hours, identify and resolve obstacles, and guide families confidently toward enrollment
  • Implement safety protocols and drills, record incidents, and ensure airtight compliance
  • Manage daily logistics, facilities maintenance, vendor relationships, and act as the primary tech liaison
  • Organize and host open houses and campus events that present Montessorium with a polished, welcoming atmosphere
  • Provide coverage during short-term staffing gaps to supervise K–6 students (ages 5–13)—think recess monitoring, transitions, and basic classroom supervision. This is coverage, not teaching.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching, tutoring, or delivering academic instruction to students
  • Creating curriculum or altering academic programs
  • Remaining at a desk all day
  • Escalating every tech problem
  • Adhering to a strict 9–5 schedule. Some student activities and events occur after hours or on weekends

Key responsibilities

Support consistent enrollment growth and provide a safe, professional campus environment that builds family trust and allows our guides to concentrate on learning outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Interest in Montessori elementary (prior knowledge preferred, not necessary)
  • Demonstrated admissions or enrollment experience, with direct interaction with parents and students
  • Strong ownership mindset and initiative to solve problems independently
  • Exceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Available to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX or willing to relocate
