IT Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

You won't be running a school—you'll be ensuring it runs and scales. If you can seamlessly transition from guiding prospective parents through tours to coordinating a safety drill to resolving a technical issue without losing composure, this role is built for you.

Serving as both the operational core and the admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus, you will manage all non-instructional functions and every touchpoint that brings families through our doors. You'll conduct tours designed to convert interest into enrollment, follow up thoughtfully with leads, and maintain a clear view of the admissions pipeline. You'll also ensure the campus operates smoothly: handling daily logistics, facilities management, vendor relations, technology coordination, and the safety standards parents depend on.

Montessorium is a Montessori elementary program (K-6) that blends traditional hands-on materials and lessons with modern technology. We support that model with transparent systems, mutual trust, and team members who embrace accountability. This is a salaried, full-time, on-site position with benefits. If you're the dependable presence families count on and the operator who keeps everything aligned, we'd like to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct family tours with a focus on conversion, tailor follow-up communications, and oversee the admissions pipeline to meet enrollment goals
  • Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, identify and resolve obstacles, and guide prospective families confidently toward enrollment
  • Implement safety protocols and emergency drills, record incidents accurately, and ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Manage daily operations, facilities maintenance, vendor relationships, and act as the primary point of contact for technology support
  • Organize and execute open houses and campus events that present Montessorium in a professional, inviting light
  • Provide temporary supervision for K–6 students (ages 5–13) during staffing shortages—covering recess, transitions, and basic classroom monitoring. This is backup support, not teaching.
    • Delivering academic instruction, tutoring, or teaching students
    • Creating curriculum or altering educational programming
    • Remaining at your desk throughout the day
    • Handing off every technology problem to someone else
    • Adhering to a strict 9–5 schedule. Certain student activities and events will require evening or weekend availability

Key responsibilities

Sustain consistent enrollment growth and maintain a secure, professional campus environment that builds family confidence and allows our guides to concentrate on educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Interest in Montessori elementary education (prior knowledge preferred, not necessary)
  • Demonstrated admissions or enrollment experience, including direct interaction with parents and students
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to address problems without constant oversight
  • Excellent communication abilities and high emotional intelligence
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Available to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX or willing to relocate
