Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

Exceptional schools rely on more than what happens inside the classroom. They depend on someone ensuring that everything surrounding instruction runs smoothly—reliably, steadily, and thoughtfully.

Montessorium is a carefully crafted educational space where students, families, and teachers flourish together. Our model demands more than strong academics. It demands operational systems that feel dependable, secure, and personal. This position exists to keep the campus functioning at that standard daily.

In this position, you own the non-instructional life of the campus. You serve families through transparent communication, safeguard student welfare through rigorous safety protocols, maintain facility and logistical operations, and ensure technology enables learning instead of disrupting it. You are the bridge connecting parents, Guides, and operational systems.

This is not a traditional office role. It is active, relationship-driven, and continuously shifting. If you thrive on diversity in your work, value service excellence, and seek a role where your efforts tangibly enhance the daily lives of children and families, this position provides real ownership and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Developing trust-based relationships with families, students, and staff through transparent, prompt, and considerate communication
  • Overseeing campus security operations including entry protocols, incident reporting, emergency drills, and family coordination
  • Coordinating daily campus operations such as attendance tracking, facility maintenance support, transportation logistics, and front office management
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for new employees to enable seamless integration into campus workflows and culture
  • Administering student technology and campus devices, acting as the primary on-site contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Providing classroom instruction or academic support
  • Developing educational content or mentoring Guides
  • Functioning in a static, desk-only administrative capacity
  • Operating within a fixed, routine structure with limited scope
  • Passing off responsibility for challenges rather than owning resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain campus operations that are smooth, secure, and reliable so that students, staff, and families encounter Montessorium as composed, well-managed, and profoundly dependable.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facility operations, site management, or comparable roles
  • Proficiency with foundational technology tasks including device configuration, basic troubleshooting, and user account management
  • Clear written and spoken communication abilities with families, colleagues, and external partners
  • Strong organizational precision and capacity to juggle competing priorities
  • Authentic enthusiasm for Montessori elementary education
  • Authorization to work legally in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work on-site in Cedar Park, TX, or readiness to relocate
