School Operations Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

You're not joining us to manage a school. You're joining us to ensure it operates smoothly and expands. If you can pivot seamlessly from guiding prospective parents through campus to coordinating a safety drill to resolving a technical issue—all while maintaining composure—this role is for you.

Serving as both the operational backbone and the admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus, you'll oversee all non-classroom functions and everything that brings families through our doors. You'll conduct compelling tours, maintain thoughtful prospect communication, and monitor the enrollment pipeline. You'll also ensure campus continuity: managing daily operations, facilities maintenance, vendor relationships, technology needs, and the safety protocols that earn parental confidence.

Montessorium delivers a Montessori elementary experience (K-6) that blends tactile learning materials with modern technology. We support that approach through transparent systems, mutual trust, and team members who embrace accountability. This is a salaried, full-time, on-campus position with benefits. If you're the reliable presence families count on and the operator who ensures everything works, we'd like to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct family tours that lead to enrollment, customize follow-up communications, and oversee the admissions process toward enrollment goals
  • Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, identify and resolve obstacles, and shepherd families confidently through the decision process
  • Implement safety procedures and drills, record incidents accurately, and ensure strict regulatory compliance
  • Manage day-to-day logistics, facilities maintenance, vendor partnerships, and act as the main point of contact for technology support
  • Organize and execute open houses and campus events that present Montessorium through a professional, inviting lens
  • Provide temporary supervision for K–6 students (ages 5–13) during brief staffing shortages—covering recess duty, transitions, and basic classroom monitoring. This is support, not teaching.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering lessons, tutoring sessions, or any form of academic instruction
  • Designing curriculum or altering educational programs
  • Remaining desk-bound throughout the day
  • Routing every technology problem to others
  • Adhering to a strict 9–5 workday. Certain student events and activities occur outside standard hours or on weekends

Key responsibilities

Sustain consistent enrollment momentum and provide a secure, professional campus environment that builds family confidence and allows our guides to concentrate on educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Enthusiasm for Montessori elementary education (prior experience preferred, but not required)
  • Demonstrated admissions or enrollment background, including direct interaction with parents and students
  • Robust ownership mentality and capacity to address challenges autonomously
  • Outstanding communication abilities and elevated emotional intelligence
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work on-site in Cedar Park, TX or readiness to relocate
