School Operations Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

You won't be running a school—you'll be ensuring it runs smoothly and expands. If you can pivot seamlessly from conducting a parent tour to coordinating a safety drill to resolving a technical issue while maintaining composure, this role is for you.

Serving as both the operational backbone and the admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus, you'll manage everything beyond the classroom walls and everything that brings families through the door. You'll deliver tours designed to convert, follow up thoughtfully with prospective families, and monitor the enrollment pipeline. Simultaneously, you'll maintain campus operations: day-to-day logistics, facility management, vendor relations, technology coordination, and upholding the safety standards parents expect.

Montessorium operates as a Montessori elementary school (K-6) that blends traditional hands-on materials and lessons with advanced technology. We support that approach with transparent systems, mutual trust, and team members who embrace accountability. This is a full-time, on-campus, salaried position with benefits. If you're the reliable presence families count on and the operator who ensures everything functions seamlessly, we'd like to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct family tours focused on conversion, customize follow-up communication, and oversee the admissions pipeline toward enrollment goals
  • Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, identify and address obstacles, and guide families with confidence toward enrollment
  • Implement safety protocols and drills, record incidents accurately, and ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Manage daily operations, facility maintenance, vendor relationships, and act as the primary point of contact for technology support
  • Organize and facilitate open houses and campus events that present Montessorium through a professional, inviting lens
  • Provide short-term supervision of K–6 students (ages 5–13) during staffing shortages—covering recess, transitions, and general classroom monitoring. This is support, not teaching.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction, teaching, or tutoring students
  • Creating curriculum or altering academic programming
  • Spending your entire day at a desk
  • Referring every technical problem to someone else
  • Working a fixed 9–5 schedule. Some student activities and campus events take place after hours or on weekends

Key responsibilities

Support consistent enrollment growth and provide a secure, professional campus environment that builds family confidence and allows our guides to concentrate on educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Interest in Montessori elementary education (prior experience preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated admissions or enrollment experience, including direct interaction with parents and students
  • Robust ownership mentality and ability to resolve issues autonomously
  • Outstanding communication abilities and high emotional intelligence
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Available to work on-site in Cedar Park, TX or willing to relocate
