Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

Exceptional schools are built on more than what happens in classrooms. They depend on someone ensuring that everything surrounding instruction runs smoothly—reliably, quietly, and thoughtfully.

Montessorium offers a carefully crafted learning environment where students, families, and educators flourish together. Our model demands more than strong academics. It demands operations that feel dependable, secure, and personal. This position exists to maintain the campus at that standard each day.

In this position, you own the non-instructional operations of the campus. You engage families through clear and responsive communication, safeguard student welfare through rigorous safety protocols, maintain facilities and logistical workflows, and ensure that technology enables learning instead of disrupting it. You serve as the vital link among parents, Guides, and systems.

This is not a confined back-office function. It is practical, interactive, and dynamic. If you value diversity in your work, find purpose in service, and seek to make a tangible difference in the daily lives of children and families, this role provides real ownership and meaningful influence.

What you will be doing

  • Cultivating effective relationships with parents, students, and staff through responsive, clear, and considerate communication
  • Administering campus safety functions including access control, incident reporting, emergency drills, and family coordination
  • Coordinating daily campus operations such as attendance tracking, facility maintenance support, transportation logistics, and office management
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation for new staff to facilitate seamless integration into campus systems and culture
  • Overseeing student devices and campus technology infrastructure, acting as the on-site resource and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering instruction or assisting with classroom teaching
  • Developing curriculum or providing coaching to Guides
  • Functioning in a strictly clerical or stationary desk role
  • Working within a static, routine environment with limited scope
  • Handing off ownership of issues rather than resolving them end-to-end

Key responsibilities

Maintain campus operations with consistency, safety, and reliability so that students, staff, and families perceive Montessorium as composed, well-managed, and profoundly dependable.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (no specific field required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar roles
  • Comfort with basic technology tasks such as device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with parents, staff, and vendors
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Genuine interest in Montessori elementary education
  • Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX, or willingness to relocate
