Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

Great schools are built on more than what happens in the classroom. They depend on someone ensuring that everything surrounding the classroom operates smoothly—reliably, quietly, and with intention.

Montessorium is a carefully crafted learning environment where students, families, and educators flourish together. Our model demands more than strong academics. It demands operations that feel dependable, secure, and genuinely supportive. This position exists to maintain that standard across the campus each day.

In this position, you own the non-instructional operations of the campus. You engage families through effective communication, uphold student safety through rigorous protocols, maintain facility and logistical systems, and ensure that technology enables learning instead of disrupting it. You serve as the bridge between parents, Guides, and campus infrastructure.

This is not a standard office job. It is dynamic, service-oriented, and continually shifting. If you value diversity of work, find satisfaction in supporting others, and seek a role where your contributions visibly enhance the experience of children and families, this position provides real responsibility and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Cultivating positive relationships with parents, students, and staff through responsive, clear, and considerate communication
  • Directing campus safety functions including entry protocols, incident reporting, emergency drills, and family communication
  • Supervising everyday campus operations such as attendance tracking, facility maintenance support, transportation logistics, and front office management
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation for new employees to facilitate seamless entry into campus workflows and culture
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, acting as the primary on-site contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Providing classroom instruction or direct academic support
  • Developing curriculum or mentoring Guides
  • Functioning in a purely desk-based or back-office capacity
  • Working within a rigid, routine-driven structure with limited scope
  • Passing off issues to others rather than taking ownership through resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain campus operations so they function smoothly, safely, and reliably, ensuring that students, staff, and families experience Montessorium as organized, secure, and genuinely trustworthy.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities management, site operations, or comparable positions
  • Proficiency with routine technology tasks including device configuration, basic troubleshooting, and user account management
  • Effective written and spoken communication abilities with parents, colleagues, and external partners
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capability to juggle competing priorities
  • Sincere interest in Montessori elementary education
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work on-site in Cedar Park, TX, or readiness to relocate
