Campus Operations Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.

This position is not about running a school—it's about ensuring one runs and expands effectively. If you can pivot seamlessly from conducting a parent tour to executing a safety drill to resolving a technical issue without losing composure, this role is designed for you.

Serving as both the operational core and admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus, you'll manage everything beyond the classroom walls and everything that brings families through the door. You'll conduct tours that close, cultivate leads through strategic follow-up, and monitor the enrollment pipeline. Simultaneously, you'll maintain campus operations: day-to-day logistics, facility management, vendor relations, technology coordination, and the safety standards that build parent confidence.

Montessorium is a Montessori elementary program (K-6) that blends hands-on learning materials with advanced technology. We support that approach with transparent systems, high accountability, and team members who embrace ownership. This is a full-time, on-campus, salaried position with benefits. If you're the reliable presence families count on and the operator who ensures everything works, we're eager to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct family tours that lead to enrollments, customize follow-up communications, and oversee the admissions pipeline toward enrollment goals
  • Respond to inquiries within 24 hours, identify and resolve obstacles, and guide families with confidence toward commitment
  • Implement safety protocols and drills, record incidents, and ensure rigorous compliance
  • Manage daily logistics, facility maintenance, vendor partnerships, and act as the primary technology liaison
  • Organize and host open houses and campus events that present Montessorium through a polished, inviting experience
  • Provide temporary supervision for K–6 students (ages 5–13) during short-term staffing shortages—managing recess, transitions, and basic classroom monitoring. This is support coverage, not teaching.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching, tutoring, or delivering academic instruction to students
  • Creating curriculum or altering academic programs
  • Remaining desk-bound throughout the day
  • Escalating every technical issue
  • Working a strict 9–5 schedule. Some student activities and events occur outside standard hours or on weekends

Key responsibilities

Sustain consistent enrollment growth and provide a secure, professional campus environment that builds family trust and allows our guides to concentrate on learning outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Interest in Montessori elementary (prior knowledge preferred, not necessary)
  • Proven admissions or enrollment experience, with direct engagement with parents and students
  • Strong ownership mindset and initiative to solve problems independently
  • Exceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Available to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX or willing to relocate
