Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position requires on-site presence at our Austin, Texas campus.

Traditional schools focus on teaching students what to think. This position focuses on teaching them how to execute.

Alpha is creating a reimagined high school experience—one that replaces lectures and rote memorization with building, shipping, communicating, and growing. Students launch projects, validate ideas, and acquire practical skills rarely mastered even by working professionals. Your role ensures they follow through and perform at a high level.

You will engage directly with high school students as they launch businesses, lead projects, and cultivate the confidence, communication ability, and competence needed to thrive after graduation. Theory is not your domain. Coaching execution is. You will establish rigorous standards, maintain accountability, and challenge students to produce work that meets real-world benchmarks.

This position is designed for individuals who have accomplished something tangible beyond academic settings—whether building a product, scaling an audience, operating within a startup, or delivering results in a high-velocity environment—and who now wish to channel that experience into developing the next generation. If you seek a conventional teaching position, this is not the right fit. If you aim to influence how driven teenagers think, behave, and perform, this is your opportunity.

If you have achieved something meaningful in your professional life and are ready to dedicate your energy to helping motivated teenagers reach their full potential, this is your opportunity. Apply now

  • Monitor student development across the 3 C's and take corrective action when performance declines
