Description

ELITE CHILD DEVELOPMENT SPECIALISTS WANTED: TRANSFORM EARLY EDUCATION IN AUSTIN

This full-time, in-person position at our Austin, Texas campus demands exceptional talent who can revolutionize how 4-year-olds learn. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

At Alpha, we're redefining preschool education through our groundbreaking 2-Hour Learning program. Our approach seamlessly blends AI-driven adaptive technology with essential human connection, creating personalized learning journeys that develop the whole child. While others follow outdated educational models, we pioneer methods that foster genuine curiosity, emotional intelligence, and cognitive development.

Join our mission to transform education and you'll experience unparalleled professional growth. We invest in exceptional educators with competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a tech-forward environment that values innovation. This role isn't for everyone—it's for visionaries who understand that the future of education depends on what happens in these formative years.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrate dynamic, play-based learning experiences that deliberately develop fine and gross motor skills, creative thinking, and sensory exploration through strategically designed activities
  • Engineer social-emotional growth opportunities through expertly facilitated collaborative experiences, helping children master essential life skills like empathy, conflict resolution, and self-regulation
  • Implement real-time assessment techniques to track individual progress, immediately adapting your approach to optimize each child's learning trajectory
  • Leverage cutting-edge educational technology to personalize instruction, ensuring every child receives precisely what they need to thrive
  • Establish a psychologically safe environment where children develop the confidence to take intellectual risks, express authentic ideas, and cultivate resilience

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing from a distance—your expertise will be directly applied through consistent, meaningful interactions with children, not administrative paperwork
  • Implementing outdated, passive learning methods—we've eliminated worksheets and rote memorization in favor of dynamic, embodied learning experiences
  • Prioritizing academic metrics over emotional development—our holistic approach recognizes that cognitive growth depends on social-emotional foundations

Key responsibilities

  • Ignite a lifelong passion for learning by designing and delivering exceptional play-based experiences that systematically develop critical early childhood competencies
  • Construct learning environments that simultaneously nurture creativity, psychological safety, and appropriate risk-taking
  • Establish meaningful connections with each child, delivering precisely calibrated feedback that accelerates their development
  • Drive measurable progress toward developmental milestones through strategic observation, documentation, and responsive instruction

Candidate requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field OR recognized certifications in specialized early childhood methodologies (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, CDA)
  • Demonstrated ability to create dynamic learning environments that captivate young minds and inspire joyful engagement
  • Proficiency with educational technology and eagerness to integrate digital tools that enhance the learning experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Commitment to working in-person at our Austin, TX campus
