What you will be doing

  • Design and lead dynamic, play-based learning experiences that develop fine motor skills, creativity, and sensory exploration through strategic art projects, immersive storytelling, and foundational science experiments.
  • Orchestrate social-emotional growth through structured collaborative activities and personalized guidance, equipping children with essential skills in empathy, resource-sharing, and self-regulation.
  • Implement real-time assessment protocols to track individual progress, adapting learning approaches instantaneously to maintain optimal engagement and development trajectories.
  • Leverage cutting-edge educational technology to create personalized learning pathways that address each child's unique cognitive profile and learning preferences.
  • Establish and maintain a psychologically safe learning environment where children develop confidence, intellectual curiosity, and the growth mindset necessary for lifelong achievement.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing classroom logistics without meaningful student interaction—your primary focus will be direct, purposeful engagement that drives developmental outcomes.
  • Implementing passive learning methodologies or standardized worksheets—Alpha's approach demands dynamic, movement-based learning experiences that activate multiple cognitive pathways.
  • Prioritizing academic metrics at the expense of social-emotional development—our holistic approach recognizes that emotional intelligence forms the foundation for all future learning success.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive measurable developmental progress across motor, social, and emotional domains through expertly designed play-based activities that transform early childhood potential into achievement.
  • Cultivate an environment of psychological safety and intellectual stimulation where self-expression and curiosity thrive, enabling each student to confidently reach developmental milestones.
  • Establish meaningful connections with each learner through personalized feedback systems that build self-efficacy and growth orientation.

Candidate requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field OR recognized certifications in established early childhood methodologies (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, CDA).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and maintain high-engagement learning environments that foster both joy and measurable developmental progress.
  • Advanced proficiency with educational technology platforms and enthusiasm for integrating digital tools into developmental learning frameworks.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Commitment to in-person instruction at our Austin, TX campus.
