REQUIRED: Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate and Arizona Residency.
What if your expertise in Special Education could transcend compliance work—and help you reimagine what school can be?
Unbound Academy has reconstructed education from the foundation up. We are the first virtual, tuition-free charter school where students achieve academic mastery in just two hours daily through adaptive AI—leaving their afternoons open for immersive, real-world learning experiences. Our Guides don't stand at the front of a classroom lecturing. They mentor, motivate, and facilitate hands-on workshops covering storytelling, entrepreneurship, design, wellness, and more. We now seek a Special Education professional capable of both: guiding students toward life readiness and managing our IEP program with exactness.
This position is designed for the SPED teacher who has done it all. You've run your own classroom—but you've also been the one drafting, revising, and coordinating IEPs in the background. You understand what's required to maintain compliance while keeping students at the heart of everything. You're Arizona-based and fully certified. Above all, you're motivated by the prospect of doing purposeful work—not administrative busywork—in a school that genuinely prepares young people for the real world.
If you're prepared to leave behind the bureaucracy and approach SPED in a new way, this is your opportunity to create something exceptional.
Oversee the creation, implementation, and compliance of all IEPs while involving students in transformative, life-skill-focused virtual experiences.
Crossover's skill assessment process combines innovative AI power with decades of human research, to take the guesswork, human bias, and pointless filters out of recruiting high-performing teams.
