Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person role located at our NYC campus.

Tired of education that settles for mediocrity? At Alpha, we're building the future of learning for the brightest minds—and we need an operational powerhouse to make it happen.

Alpha is redefining what's possible in education. Our students master high school academics by 8th grade, score 5s on APs, and achieve 1350+ SAT scores. This isn't incremental improvement—it's transformation. As our Campus Support Specialist, you'll be the operational backbone ensuring our revolutionary 2-Hour Learning model runs with precision and excellence.

You'll orchestrate everything from campus safety to technology infrastructure, creating the optimal environment where exceptional students accelerate at twice the traditional pace. This isn't about maintaining the status quo—it's about enabling an educational revolution where academic rigor is celebrated, independence is cultivated, and potential is unlimited. Join us in building an educational experience worthy of tomorrow's leaders.

What you will be doing

  • Drive operational excellence across all campus functions, ensuring seamless daily execution of our accelerated learning model
  • Provide frontline technology support and device troubleshooting while coordinating with IT teams to maintain our digital infrastructure
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with students, parents, and staff through strategic, clear communication
  • Implement and enforce comprehensive safety protocols that protect our campus community
  • Coordinate high-impact campus activities including community events, staff onboarding, and facility optimization

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or curriculum development—our specialized guides handle student mentorship while you ensure operational excellence
  • Working in isolation without seeing direct impact—your operational leadership directly enables student achievement and family satisfaction
  • Managing bureaucratic paperwork—every task you perform directly supports our mission of accelerated, limitless learning
  • Following outdated educational protocols—we're building something revolutionary that requires fresh thinking and innovative approaches

Key responsibilities

Power the engine behind an educational revolution. Your operational excellence will create the foundation where exceptional students thrive, guides mentor effectively, and families experience an educational environment that delivers extraordinary results.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years managing complex operational systems in education, events, hospitality, or similar environments
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure during crises, take decisive initiative, and independently prioritize competing demands
  • Technical proficiency with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that build and maintain community trust
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and ability to work on-site at our NYC campus
