Description

LOCATION NOTICE: This position is a full-time, on-site role at our NYC campus.

Are you seeking a departure from the conventional educational settings that fail to recognize exceptional talent? At Alpha, we're transforming the landscape of education for students who seek more than the standard classroom experience. We're searching for a dedicated team member who excels in orchestrating smooth operations to support an unparalleled learning environment.

Alpha stands apart from typical private schools - we are grooming tomorrow's leaders through a blend of rigorous academics and life skills proficiency. Our students complete high school level academics by 8th grade, achieving 5s on AP exams and SAT scores of 1350+. In this role, you'll serve as the operational cornerstone of our pioneering campus, ensuring our 2-Hour Learning model functions seamlessly and our students sprint through academics at twice the normal pace.

Your role will encompass managing everything from campus safety protocols to technology administration, enabling our guides to dedicate themselves to mentoring these outstanding minds. Unlike conventional school administrative positions, you'll thrive in an environment where academic competition is celebrated, independence is encouraged, and students are inspired to reach their fullest potential. If you're eager to support an educational revolution that nurtures not just intellectual brilliance but also well-rounded leaders, join us and help shape the future of gifted education.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the seamless daily operations of our campus.
  • Provide basic technical support, including straightforward device troubleshooting and liaising with IT as necessary.
  • Foster strong community relationships with students, parents, and staff through effective communication.
  • Establish and maintain campus safety protocols, ensuring a secure environment for everyone.
  • Support essential campus activities, such as events, staff onboarding, and facility management.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing academic subjects or developing curriculum - our guides manage student mentorship while you concentrate on operational excellence.
  • Working in seclusion without having a meaningful impact on student achievements and family satisfaction.
  • Engaging in routine administrative tasks that do not directly contribute to our mission of accelerated, limitless learning.

Key responsibilities

Act as the driving force behind a groundbreaking school that is reshaping education - manage a campus where operations are efficient, students excel, and families recognize they have discovered something extraordinary.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage crises calmly, take initiative, and independently handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that foster community trust.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and available to work on-site in NYC.
