Learning Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

You've tested your limits—whether in competition, creative performance, or professional achievement. Now you're ready to channel that excellence into meaningful impact. At Alpha Anywhere, you'll coach students to accomplish something remarkable: embrace learning, accelerate their progress, and develop into capable, independent thinkers. You'll do this work from wherever you are in the world.

Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual extension of Alpha's innovative educational approach. We combine AI-driven academics with two weekly 1:1 coaching sessions to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: tailored mastery, acceleration, and intrinsic drive. This isn't tutoring. It's not conventional teaching. It's performance coaching for students prepared to learn twice as fast—and who need guidance to reach that potential.

You'll partner with students in grades 3–8 from around the world to create measurable academic progress through mindset development, not direct instruction. Your responsibility is to maintain high standards, cultivate confidence, and transform school into an experience of achievement. Each session you conduct has significance. Each insight you catalyze makes a difference. If impact is what you seek, you've arrived.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic target-setting, motivation, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" where students can access real-time guidance, motivation, or problem-solving support
  • Leveraging AI tools and progress dashboards to monitor student advancement, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
  • Recording observations, alerts, and tactical updates to keep each student on an accelerated growth path
  • Working alongside your team to exchange effective practices, elevate issues, and continuously refine the coaching framework

What you will NOT be doing

  • Conducting lessons, evaluating assessments, or distributing homework—our technology manages the academic content
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a prescribed curriculum
  • Supervising or over-managing unmotivated students—we coach with purpose, not constant oversight
  • Attending redundant meetings or navigating administrative red tape
  • Operating on autopilot—this team is designed for individuals committed to high-level performance and meaningful results

Key responsibilities

Create measurable academic advancement and engagement for virtual learners through high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
  • Demonstrated high performance in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Strong virtual presence and capability to build rapport with students rapidly via Zoom/Google Meet
  • Comfortable navigating dashboards and technology tools to monitor and optimize performance
  • Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
  • Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
