Learning Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

You've already proven yourself—whether on the field, in front of an audience, or in a professional setting. Now it's time to channel that excellence into something meaningful. At Alpha Anywhere, you'll coach students to achieve what seems impossible: genuinely enjoying school, accelerating their learning, and developing into assured, independent thinkers. And you'll do all of this from wherever you call home.

Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual next generation of Alpha's revolutionary educational approach. We combine AI-driven academic content with two 1:1 coaching sessions each week to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, accelerated progress, and sustained engagement. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is elite-level coaching for students prepared to learn twice as fast—and who need someone to help them reach that potential.

You'll partner with students in grades 3–8 from around the world to produce measurable academic results through mindset transformation, not direct instruction. Your job is to maintain high standards, cultivate confidence, and make the learning experience feel like success. Every session you conduct has weight. Every insight you unlock matters. If meaningful impact is what you're after, you've found it.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting two 1:1 virtual coaching sessions weekly per student, centered on academic goal formation, engagement, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" where students can join for immediate support, motivation, or problem-solving
  • Leveraging AI platforms and progress dashboards to monitor student achievement, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching tactics
  • Recording observations, concerns, and strategic notes to keep every student on an accelerated growth path
  • Working alongside your team to exchange best practices, flag issues, and continuously refine the coaching framework

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering lessons, evaluating assessments, or distributing homework—technology manages the academic content
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a fixed syllabus
  • Supervising or over-managing students who lack engagement—we coach, we don't hover
  • Attending redundant meetings or navigating red tape
  • Settling for mediocrity—this team is designed for individuals committed to high performance and real results

Key responsibilities

Produce measurable academic progress and heightened engagement for virtual learners through frequent, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
  • Demonstrated high performance in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Strong ability to establish rapport with students quickly in virtual settings via Zoom/Google Meet
  • Comfortable navigating dashboards and digital tools to monitor and optimize performance
  • Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
  • Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
