Description
This role is about fostering excitement, confidence, and readiness to learn in students—without the burden of lesson planning or grading.
Novatio School is transforming student support through an AI-powered learning model. Core academics are completed in two concentrated morning hours. Afternoons are dedicated to live workshops where students explore, create, and develop new skills.
You will maintain high energy and ensure smooth operations. Your focus will be guiding students through transitions, supporting engagement in small groups, and motivating learners when they encounter challenges. Content instruction is not part of this position, but your contribution will be critical to the success of every session.

What you will be doing
- Facilitating live virtual workshops by coordinating breakout rooms, managing transitions, and overseeing group activities
- Encouraging student participation and enthusiasm through chat engagement, recognition, and one-on-one check-ins
- Maintaining student engagement, confidence, and connection throughout learning sessions
- Supporting lead educators with operational logistics to ensure seamless workshop delivery
- Serving as a culture-builder and dependable presence across bilingual tracks and student clubs
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering academic instruction or teaching subject matter content
- Developing lesson plans or evaluating student assignments
- Building curriculum or independently facilitating workshops
- Observing passively—this position requires active, energetic involvement
Key responsibilities
Facilitate dynamic virtual learning experiences by ensuring students remain engaged, organized, and motivated during every workshop session.
Candidate requirements
- Available to work 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or youth leadership
- Educational background in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have attended school in one of these countries (current location can be anywhere)
- Excellent communication skills and an energizing, student-centered presence with attention to detail
- Able to begin by the end of July
Nice to have
- Familiarity with online learning platforms or youth enrichment programs
- Experience in after-school programs, summer camps, or club leadership roles
