Virtual Classroom Facilitator   $40,000 USD/year

Description

Imagine a role where your primary focus is sparking excitement, building confidence, and preparing children to engage—without the burden of curriculum planning or assessment.

Novatio School is transforming the way we approach student achievement. Our AI-driven academic platform delivers essential instruction during two concentrated morning hours. The afternoons are reserved for live, interactive workshops where students explore new interests, collaborate, and develop personally.

You will maintain momentum and ensure seamless execution. Your responsibilities include guiding students through transitions, fostering participation in small group settings, and providing encouragement when learners encounter obstacles. While you won't deliver academic instruction, you will be critical to ensuring each session operates flawlessly.

If you have experience leading young people—whether through camps, athletics, tutoring, or youth organizations—and you want to help make education feel meaningful, engaging, and personal, this opportunity may be your ideal next step.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating live virtual workshops by coordinating breakout rooms, managing transitions, and overseeing group activities
  • Encouraging student participation and enthusiasm through chat interactions, acknowledgments, and individualized outreach
  • Ensuring students remain engaged, confident, and connected throughout their learning sessions
  • Supporting lead educators with operational logistics that enable workshops to run seamlessly
  • Serving as a community builder and reliable presence across bilingual offerings and extracurricular clubs

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or teaching subject-area content
  • Developing lesson plans or evaluating student assignments
  • Designing educational curriculum or facilitating workshops independently
  • Observing passively—this role demands active involvement and high energy

Key responsibilities

Facilitate dynamic, virtual learning environments by ensuring students remain engaged, organized, and motivated throughout each workshop experience.

Candidate requirements

  • Willing to work 8am - 5pm M-F US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
  • At least 1 year of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth
  • Educational background in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have attended school in one of these countries (current location can be anywhere)
  • Strong communication skills and energizing, student-first presence with an eye for details
  • Ready to start by the end of July

Nice to have

  • Experience with online learning tools or youth enrichment programs
  • Background in after-school programs, summer camps, or club leadership
