This role is for someone who wants to support students in feeling confident, motivated, and eager to engage—without managing lesson plans or grading.
Novatio School operates on a reimagined model. Mornings are dedicated to two hours of AI-driven core instruction. In the afternoons, students join live workshops designed for exploration, creativity, and skill-building.
You will focus on maintaining momentum and managing operational flow. Your responsibilities include guiding students through transitions, fostering engagement in small groups, and encouraging learners when they hit a roadblock. Content delivery is not your responsibility, but your presence will be critical to ensuring each session functions seamlessly.

What you will be doing
- Facilitating live virtual workshops by coordinating breakout rooms, managing transitions, and overseeing group activities
- Encouraging student involvement and energy through direct messages, recognition, and one-on-one touchpoints
- Supporting learners in maintaining focus, confidence, and connection throughout their sessions
- Providing operational assistance to lead educators to ensure workshops proceed without disruption
- Serving as a community presence and trusted guide across bilingual learning tracks and student clubs
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering academic instruction or teaching subject matter
- Developing lesson plans or evaluating student work
- Building curriculum or independently facilitating workshops
- Operating passively—this role requires active involvement and energy
Key responsibilities
Facilitate dynamic virtual learning environments by ensuring students remain engaged, well-organized, and motivated during every workshop session.
Candidate requirements
- Available to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mentoring, tutoring, coaching, or youth leadership
- Educational history within US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16)—must have attended school in one of these countries (current residence may be anywhere)
- Excellent communication abilities and confidence using digital tools
- Student-centered demeanor with strong attention to detail and ability to manage smooth transitions
Nice to have
- Familiarity with online education platforms or youth development programs
- Experience in after-school initiatives, summer camps, or club facilitation
