This role demands individuals who excel at creating high-energy environments, managing seamless transitions, and connecting with students on a personal level. You'll be the essential force that turns ordinary online sessions into extraordinary learning experiences—all without the burden of lesson planning or grading.
What you will be doing
- Orchestrate virtual workshop logistics with precision, including breakout room management, transitions, and activity coordination
- Drive student engagement through strategic interventions, motivational check-ins, and personalized encouragement
- Establish and maintain a vibrant learning culture that keeps students confident, connected, and actively participating
- Execute behind-the-scenes operational support for lead educators to ensure flawless workshop delivery
- Serve as a consistent, trusted presence across bilingual tracks and specialized club activities
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering academic content or subject matter instruction
- Developing lesson plans or evaluating student assignments
- Creating curriculum or independently leading workshop sessions
- Observing passively—this position requires continuous active engagement
Key responsibilities
Candidate requirements
- Commitment to work schedule: 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated success in youth leadership roles (mentoring, coaching, tutoring)
- Educational background within US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16)—must have attended school in one of these countries (current global location acceptable)
- Superior communication abilities and advanced proficiency with digital platforms
- Demonstrated capacity to create energizing, student-centered environments with meticulous attention to logistical details
Nice to have
- Prior experience with online learning platforms or youth enrichment program facilitation
- Proven track record in after-school programs, summer camps, or student club leadership
