Novatio School is reimagining student support from the ground up. We use an AI-powered learning platform to deliver core academics in just two focused morning hours. The afternoons are dedicated to live, interactive workshops where students explore new ideas, collaborate, and build skills.
You'll be the one keeping sessions running smoothly and students energized. Your job is to help learners navigate transitions, stay engaged in small group activities, and push through challenges with encouragement. You won't deliver curriculum, but your presence will be critical to the success of every workshop.

What you will be doing
- Facilitating smooth virtual workshop experiences by coordinating breakout rooms, transitions, and collaborative activities
- Encouraging student participation through direct engagement, chat messages, recognition, and one-on-one outreach
- Keeping learners focused, motivated, and socially connected during their afternoon sessions
- Providing operational support to lead educators so workshops remain seamless and well-paced
- Building a positive, inclusive culture across bilingual learning tracks and student clubs
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering academic instruction or presenting subject-based content
- Developing lesson plans or evaluating student work
- Building curriculum or leading workshops independently
- Observing from the background—this role requires active, energetic participation
Key responsibilities
Facilitate dynamic virtual learning sessions by ensuring students remain engaged, organized, and motivated throughout every workshop interaction.
Candidate requirements
- Available to work Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with youth in a mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leadership capacity
- Educational background in the US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have been enrolled in one of these countries (current residence can be anywhere)
- Excellent communication skills with a detail-oriented, student-centered approach and energizing presence
- Able to begin work by the end of July
Nice to have
- Familiarity with virtual learning platforms or youth development programs
- Experience in after-school initiatives, summer camps, or extracurricular leadership
