As our Student Engagement Facilitator, you'll be the energetic force keeping our virtual learning spaces buzzing with excitement. You won't be teaching content—instead, you'll be the wizard behind the curtain ensuring seamless experiences, motivating hesitant learners, and creating an atmosphere where every student feels seen and supported.

What you will be doing
- Orchestrating the virtual learning environment by expertly managing breakout sessions, facilitating smooth transitions, and coordinating engaging group activities
- Igniting student enthusiasm through personalized encouragement, thoughtful chat interactions, and well-timed recognition of participation
- Fostering a sense of belonging and confidence among students during their digital learning journey
- Providing crucial behind-the-scenes support to lead educators, ensuring workshops flow effortlessly
- Serving as a cultural ambassador and reliable presence across our diverse bilingual programs and club offerings
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering academic content or subject matter instruction
- Developing curriculum materials or evaluating student assignments
- Independently designing or conducting workshop sessions
- Observing passively—this role demands your active, enthusiastic participation throughout
Key responsibilities
Create dynamic virtual learning environments by championing student engagement, maintaining organizational flow, and infusing each workshop with positive energy that keeps learners motivated, focused, and excited to participate.
Candidate requirements
- Available for full-time hours (8am-5pm Monday-Friday, US Mountain Time/UTC-7)
- Minimum 3 years of youth leadership experience (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or similar roles)
- Educational background within US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have personal experience as a student in one of these systems (you can currently reside anywhere globally)
- Exceptional communication abilities and proficiency with digital learning platforms
- Vibrant, student-centered presence combined with strong attention to detail and ability to facilitate smooth transitions
Nice to have
- Previous involvement with digital learning tools or youth enrichment initiatives
- Experience leading extracurricular activities, summer programs, or student organizations
