Description

Elite Campus Operations: Where Exceptional Learning Lives or Dies This is a full-time, in-person role located at our San Francisco campus. At Alpha, we're building the future of education for students who've outgrown conventional schools. We don't just need another administrator—we need an operational mastermind who creates the conditions for accelerated learning. Our 2-Hour Learning model helps gifted students progress faster than traditional education allows, but it only works with flawless execution behind the scenes. As Community & Operations Manager, you'll be the backbone of our San Francisco campus—orchestrating the daily flow, safeguarding focused learning time, and maintaining the high-caliber environment that makes breakthrough education possible. You'll own campus safety, facilities management, and essential tech support while cultivating a culture where academic ambition thrives and independence is developed systematically.

What you will be doing

  • Executing daily campus operations with precision to preserve our 2-Hour Learning schedule—protecting every minute of focused learning time.
  • Managing front-line technology support and coordinating with IT teams to ensure seamless digital learning environments.
  • Building community trust through impeccable communication and reliable follow-through with students, families, and staff.
  • Implementing comprehensive safety protocols, conducting drills, maintaining incident documentation, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Elevating campus events, staff onboarding, and facilities management to maintain our exceptional standard of educational delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Developing curriculum or leading academic instruction—our Guides handle student learning while you create the optimal conditions for their success.
  • Working behind the scenes with limited impact—your operational excellence directly enhances learning outcomes and family experience.
  • Managing administrative tasks disconnected from our mission—every system you build accelerates student achievement.

Key responsibilities

Own the comprehensive campus operation to ensure Alpha runs with precision, maintains our exacting standards, and creates an environment where accelerated learning flourishes and families experience exceptional value.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • Minimum 2 years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or comparable high-service environments
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure during crises, take independent initiative, and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Proficiency with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills that establish and maintain community confidence
  • Authorization to work in the United States and commitment to working on-site at our San Francisco campus
