Admissions and Campus Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

CAMPUS LOCATION: This is a full-time, on-site position based at our San Francisco location.

Ready to escape cookie-cutter education systems that limit student potential? Alpha is revolutionizing learning for high-achieving students who demand more than conventional classrooms can offer. We seek a dynamic operational leader to create flawless, structured, excellence-driven environments where extraordinary education thrives daily.

Alpha breaks the mold of traditional private schools by merging academic rigor with practical skills through our innovative 2-Hour Learning methodology—empowering students to accelerate beyond standard grade expectations. As our campus operational leader, you become the heartbeat of our SF location: orchestrating daily rhythms, safeguarding focused learning time, and maintaining precision in every detail so our Guides can mentor without interruption. You'll champion safety protocols, facility management, and essential technology support while cultivating an atmosphere of warmth and high achievement for our community.

If you excel at systematic processes, rapid problem resolution, and creating measurable impact, this opportunity awaits you. You'll architect a campus environment that feels purposeful, streamlined, and inspiring—where academic excellence flourishes and student autonomy develops naturally. Come help us build an educational institution where driven learners accelerate their growth, strengthen their capabilities, and emerge as principled leaders.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrating comprehensive daily campus operations to maintain our 2-Hour Learning framework without disruption or delays.
  • Managing frontline technology assistance (equipment configuration, rapid diagnostics) and facilitating advanced support escalations.
  • Cultivating confidence among students, families, and colleagues through precise communication and reliable execution.
  • Executing and monitoring campus security measures; overseeing emergency procedures, documentation protocols, and external service coordination.
  • Facilitating essential functions—community events, team integration, resource and infrastructure oversight—ensuring campus excellence remains unwavering.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing educational content; our Guides focus on student development while you ensure operational mastery.
  • Operating from behind-the-scenes isolation; your contributions directly enhance learning outcomes and community satisfaction.
  • Getting bogged down in administrative tasks unrelated to accelerated education; every action you take supports velocity, security, or excellence.

Key responsibilities

Take complete ownership of campus operations to ensure our facility operates punctually, meets standards, and maintains the caliber necessary for enhanced learning and outstanding family engagement.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years directing complex operations within educational institutions, event management, hospitality services, or comparable client-focused sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure during challenging situations, show proactive leadership, and manage competing demands autonomously.
  • Proficiency in fundamental IT problem-solving and Google Workspace management.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills that foster community confidence and engagement.
  • Valid work authorization for the United States and availability for on-site work in San Francisco, California.
