Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Palo Alto campus.

Traditional schools often limit what students can achieve. Alpha is redesigning education for learners who exceed conventional classroom expectations. We seek a detail-oriented operator to create smooth, orderly, high-performance systems that enable outstanding instruction—day after day.

Alpha is not a typical private institution. We integrate demanding academics with practical competencies and a validated 2-Hour Learning framework that accelerates student progress beyond standard grade trajectories. In this position, you serve as the operational core of our campus: you manage daily flow, safeguard focused learning time, and maintain precision in every operational detail so Guides can mentor without interruption. You will oversee security, facility management, and foundational technology administration while cultivating a welcoming, high-accountability environment for students and families.

If you excel at establishing clear protocols, resolving issues quickly, and producing measurable results, this role is designed for you. You will create a campus environment that feels purposeful, streamlined, and motivating—where academic drive is supported and self-reliance is developed. Join us to help build a school where engaged students advance faster, develop resilience, and demonstrate leadership.

What you will be doing

  • Managing all daily campus operations to ensure the 2-Hour Learning schedule runs on time and without disruption.
  • Handling first-line technology support (device configuration, basic troubleshooting) and coordinating escalations with IT teams.
  • Establishing trust with students, families, and staff through precise communication and reliable follow-through.
  • Executing and monitoring campus safety procedures; managing drills, incident documentation, and vendor relationships.
  • Facilitating key activities—events, staff onboarding, supply and facilities oversight—to maintain consistently high campus performance.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing curriculum; Guides handle student mentorship while you ensure operational excellence.
  • Operating remotely with limited visibility; your contributions directly enhance student outcomes and family satisfaction.
  • Spending time on tasks unrelated to accelerated learning; every responsibility connects to speed, safety, or quality standards.

Key responsibilities

Lead comprehensive campus operations to ensure our campus runs punctually, consistently, and at a standard that supports accelerated learning and outstanding family satisfaction.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 1+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a comparable high-service setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain composed during crises, take initiative, and manage competing priorities autonomously.
  • Proficiency with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication that fosters community trust.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and available to work on-site in Palo Alto, CA.
