Description

LOCATION: This is a full-time, on-site position at our San Francisco campus.

Ready to break free from cookie-cutter education systems that limit student potential? Alpha is revolutionizing learning for high-achieving students who need more than traditional classrooms can offer. We're seeking a dynamic operations professional to create flawless, structured environments where extraordinary education thrives daily.

Alpha stands apart from conventional private schools by merging intensive academics with practical skills through our innovative 2-Hour Learning methodology—enabling students to accelerate beyond standard grade expectations. As our campus operations leader, you'll be the essential foundation that makes everything possible: orchestrating daily workflows, safeguarding focused learning time, and maintaining excellence in every detail so our Guides can concentrate purely on student development. Your domain includes campus safety, facility management, and technology coordination, all while nurturing a culture of high achievement and warmth for our community.

If you excel at systematic processes, rapid problem resolution, and creating measurable impact, this opportunity is perfect for you. You'll craft a campus atmosphere that's purposeful, streamlined, and inspiring—where academic excellence is the standard and student independence is cultivated. Come help us build an educational environment where driven students accelerate their growth, develop resilience, and emerge as principled leaders.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrating comprehensive daily campus operations to ensure our 2-Hour Learning framework runs seamlessly without disruptions.
  • Managing frontline technology support including equipment configuration, basic troubleshooting, and coordinating advanced technical issues with IT specialists.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with students, families, and team members through clear communication and reliable execution.
  • Developing and monitoring campus safety procedures; overseeing emergency drills, maintaining incident documentation, and liaising with external service providers.
  • Facilitating essential campus functions—special events, new staff integration, inventory and facility oversight—ensuring consistently high performance standards.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing educational content; our Guides handle student mentoring while you focus on operational mastery.
  • Operating from a remote administrative role with limited impact; your contributions directly enhance student success and family satisfaction.
  • Getting bogged down in meaningless tasks unrelated to accelerated learning; every responsibility connects to efficiency, security, or excellence.

Key responsibilities

Take complete ownership of campus operations to ensure our facility operates punctually, meets high standards, and maintains conditions that support accelerated learning and outstanding family experiences.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years experience managing complex operations in educational institutions, event coordination, hospitality services, or comparable high-touch service sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure during challenging situations, show proactive leadership, and handle multiple competing demands autonomously.
  • Competency in fundamental IT problem-solving and Google Workspace management.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills that foster community confidence and engagement.
  • Valid work authorization for the United States and availability for full-time on-site work in San Francisco, CA.
