Admissions Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person role located at our San Francisco campus. Ready to power the future of accelerated learning? At Alpha, we're redefining education for students who refuse to be limited by traditional timelines. We need a precision-driven Admissions Coordinator who transforms chaos into seamless systems—because exceptional minds deserve exceptional operational support. Alpha isn't your typical private school. We've cracked the code on accelerated learning through our proven 2-Hour Learning model, combining rigorous academics with real-world application. As our Admissions Coordinator, you're the strategic gatekeeper who identifies and enrolls the next generation of high-potential students. You'll own the entire admissions pipeline—from initial inquiry to enrollment—ensuring every family interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and innovation. This role demands someone who thrives on building relationships, making data-driven decisions, and creating processes that scale. You'll work directly with families seeking more for their children, guiding them through a transformative educational choice while maintaining the high standards that define Alpha's community.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete admissions funnel from lead generation through enrollment, ensuring consistent conversion of qualified families
  • Conducting compelling campus tours and family interviews that showcase Alpha's unique value proposition and learning outcomes
  • Building and maintaining CRM systems to track prospect engagement, application status, and enrollment metrics
  • Collaborating with leadership to refine admissions criteria and processes that identify students who will thrive in our accelerated environment
  • Creating seamless onboarding experiences for new families that set clear expectations and build community connection from day one

What you will NOT be doing

  • Processing generic applications in isolation; you'll engage directly with families to understand their educational goals and assess fit
  • Working with outdated systems or manual processes; you'll leverage technology to create efficient, scalable admissions workflows
  • Accepting mediocre conversion rates; every interaction is optimized to attract and enroll families aligned with Alpha's mission
  • Operating without clear success metrics; your impact on enrollment growth and family satisfaction will be measured and celebrated

Key responsibilities

Drive enrollment growth by owning the complete admissions process, ensuring Alpha attracts and enrolls high-potential students whose families are committed to accelerated learning and character development.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field with demonstrated excellence in relationship-building and process management
  • 3+ years in admissions, sales, or client-facing roles in education, consulting, or other high-stakes environments
  • Proven ability to influence decision-makers and guide families through complex educational choices
  • Experience with CRM systems, data analysis, and creating scalable processes that drive measurable results
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that build trust and convey Alpha's unique value proposition
  • Authorized to work in the United States and available for full-time, on-site work in San Francisco, CA
