Campus Operations Manager   $100,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at our Miami campus.

You excel at establishing trust quickly through warmth, clarity, and assurance. You're a skilled communicator capable of converting family interest into enrollment commitment. Beyond interpersonal strengths, you're also the individual who identifies operational gaps, sources the right vendor, and resolves issues efficiently. If this describes you, this position finally allows you to leverage both skill sets simultaneously.

At Alpha, you'll spearhead family enrollment efforts while maintaining safe and efficient campus operations. You'll shepherd the admissions process from initial contact through completed documentation, supporting families with personalized, empathy-driven communication. Additionally, you'll supervise daily safety protocols and facility management, utilizing data and thorough documentation to maintain operational excellence and compliance readiness.

This position suits someone who excels with independence and values seeing tangible results from their efforts. You'll join a school reimagining educational possibilities—one that condenses the school day into two hours, prioritizes life skills equally with academics, and develops students who are curious, confident, and compassionate. Your mission is to expand family access to this experience and ensure excellence in delivery once they enroll.

Ready to take full ownership of the experience from beginning to end?

What you will be doing

  • Conducting customized family engagement sessions that demonstrate Alpha's educational model and influence enrollment choices
  • Overseeing the complete admissions process with prompt, deliberate, and effective communication
  • Reviewing daily safety protocols, identifying compliance gaps, and organizing staff follow-through
  • Managing vendor relationships to maintain proactive facility upkeep
  • Leveraging documentation and continuous feedback to systematically improve operational processes

What you will NOT be doing

  • Attending marathon meetings with ambiguous outcomes or absent decision-makers
  • Delivering a scripted presentation. Each family interaction is customized, authentic, and considerate
  • Micromanaging contractors or tracking down documentation that should have been completed initially
  • Waiting for others to identify issues. You'll be the person who recognizes and resolves them

Key responsibilities

Take ownership of both admissions processes and campus operations to grow student enrollment and sustain a secure, efficiently managed environment that supports excellent teaching and learning.

Candidate requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in school admissions or enrollment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • High emotional intelligence and independent drive
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Available to work in-person in Miami, FL or willing to relocate
  • Legally eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Exposure to safety oversight, regulatory compliance, or facilities management
  • Deep knowledge of the local K–12 education landscape
  • A reputation for being "the most responsive person in the room"
