Description

As the initial connection point for families evaluating where to begin their child's education, you will craft every message, coordinate each event, and steer every conversation in ways that determine whether a family selects Alpha. This position suits someone who prioritizes precision, timely responses, and authentic human interaction, recognizing that trust forms through deliberate, thoughtful action.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-thinking school frameworks. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Admissions serves as the gateway where this vision becomes tangible. Families seek more than data—they want clarity, assurance, and proof that Alpha distinguishes itself in substantive ways.

In this capacity, you will oversee the complete journey for prospective families starting from their initial contact. You will deliver timely, well-considered responses, arrange campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant information current and precise, and counsel parents on how Alpha functions and whether it matches their objectives. This is a prominent, relationship-focused position where you directly affect enrollment outcomes.

This is an on-site, high-tempo role based in Palo Alto, CA and Piedmont (East Bay), CA, ideal for someone capable of balancing multiple responsibilities with precision and attentiveness. If you value transparent communication, reliable execution, and supporting families in making informed decisions, this position provides substantial autonomy and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Addressing inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours through clear, professional communication that reflects Alpha's standards
  • Organizing and managing admissions events, campus tours, and student shadow visits from planning stages through post-event follow-up
  • Ensuring applicant records remain comprehensive and accurate within CRM and admissions systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to questions, and gather pertinent information
  • Working alongside campus and admissions team members to maintain a streamlined and effective admissions process

What you will NOT be doing

  • Rendering final admissions decisions or shaping enrollment policy
  • Delivering instruction or managing curriculum content
  • Employing aggressive sales methods or scripted messaging
  • Working within an unstructured or slow-paced setting

Key responsibilities

Provide a seamless, high-conversion admissions journey that converts early interest into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about joining Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated attention to data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto, CA or Piedmont (East Bay), CA
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
