Enrollment Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You will serve as the initial contact point for families evaluating where to begin their child's education. Each email you compose, event you schedule, and interaction you facilitate will influence whether a family selects Alpha. This position is built for someone who prioritizes accuracy, prompt communication, and authentic relationship-building, and who recognizes that trust develops through careful execution.

Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking school frameworks in existence. Our locations integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. The admissions function is where this vision takes tangible form. Families seek more than information. They seek clarity, assurance, and proof that Alpha distinguishes itself in substantive ways.

In this capacity, you will oversee the complete journey for prospective families starting from their initial outreach. You will reply quickly and with care, arrange campus visits and observation experiences, keep applicant information current and correct, and help parents understand how Alpha functions and whether it matches their objectives. This is a prominent, people-centered role where you directly affect enrollment outcomes.

This is an on-campus, high-tempo position in San Francisco suited for someone capable of balancing multiple responsibilities with precision and attentiveness. If you value transparent communication, reliable execution, and assisting families in making well-grounded decisions, this role provides substantial autonomy and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Addressing inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours through clear, professional, and Alpha-consistent messaging
  • Organizing and delivering admissions events, campus visits, and student observation days from coordination through post-event outreach
  • Keeping comprehensive and precise applicant data current across CRM and admissions systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's approach, respond to concerns, and document key information
  • Working alongside campus and admissions teams to maintain a streamlined and effective admissions process

What you will NOT be doing

  • Rendering final admissions verdicts or establishing enrollment guidelines
  • Delivering instruction or managing academic programming
  • Applying aggressive sales methods or templated messaging
  • Functioning in a loosely defined or low-urgency setting

Key responsibilities

Provide a cohesive, high-yield admissions journey that converts early interest into committed enrollment while ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about joining Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operational role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated attention to data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA
  • Authorization to work in the United States
