Enrollment Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

Waypoint is expanding what school can look like. Through an outdoor, experience-driven model, students build independence, resilience, and real-world capability alongside strong academic outcomes.

In this role, you will guide families from first inquiry through enrollment, ensuring every interaction reflects clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism. You will manage day-to-day communication, coordinate admissions events, and maintain accurate records that support confident decisions. This is a role where details matter, and follow-through is visible.

This is a fully on-site role based at our campus in Dripping Springs, Texas. You will be on campus every day — greeting families, hosting shadow days and info sessions, and working shoulder to shoulder with campus staff to help families understand a model that is different from traditional school environments. Your ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, and create a smooth, well-run experience will directly impact enrollment and family trust.

If you are highly responsive, detail-oriented, and take ownership of outcomes, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing, mission-driven school while building strong operational and communication skills.

What you will be doing

  • Own the admissions inbox, ensuring timely, clear, and professional communication with prospective families
  • Guide families through the admissions process with consistent follow-up and structured next steps
  • Support and execute admissions events, including info sessions, shadow days, and community events
  • Coordinate with campus staff to schedule student visits and ensure a smooth experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions records, tracking all applications and follow-ups

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working remotely or on a hybrid schedule — this position is fully on-site in Dripping Springs, TX
  • Working in a purely behind-the-scenes role without family interaction
  • Operating in a slow or highly bureaucratic environment
  • Focusing only on communication without strong execution and follow-through
  • Designing admissions strategy or making final enrollment decisions

Key responsibilities

Ensure a clear, responsive, and well-executed admissions experience that supports strong enrollment and positive family outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Available to work fully on-site at the Dripping Springs, TX campus, or willing to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the US

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations
  • Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families
