Enrollment Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

Alpha Waypoint is redefining the school experience through an outdoor, experience-driven approach where students develop independence, resilience, and practical capability while achieving strong academic results.

This role places you at the center of the family journey—from initial contact through final enrollment. You will ensure that every touchpoint demonstrates clarity, professionalism, and responsiveness. Managing daily communications, organizing admissions activities, and keeping records accurate and accessible will be core to your work. Here, precision and consistent follow-through are essential and highly visible.

You will operate in both remote and on-site environments, helping families navigate a school model that diverges from conventional structures. Your capacity to communicate with clarity, maintain organization, and deliver a seamless experience will have a direct influence on enrollment success and family confidence.

If you are deeply responsive, meticulous with details, and take full ownership of results, this position provides a chance to support a mission-driven, growing school while strengthening your operational and communication capabilities.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the admissions inbox to deliver prompt, clear, and professional responses to prospective families
  • Lead families through each stage of the admissions process with consistent outreach and clearly defined next steps
  • Plan and facilitate admissions events such as information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings
  • Collaborate with campus teams to arrange student visits and deliver a seamless on-site experience
  • Keep admissions records precise and current, tracking all applications and follow-up actions

What you will NOT be doing

  • Functioning in a strictly back-office role with limited family engagement
  • Working within a slow-moving or overly bureaucratic structure
  • Concentrating solely on messaging without demonstrating strong execution and accountability
  • Shaping overall admissions strategy or making final decisions on enrollment

Key responsibilities

Deliver a transparent, responsive, and efficiently managed admissions process that drives enrollment strength and fosters positive family relationships.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable balancing remote work with in-person event responsibilities
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to attend in-person campus events

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations
  • Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families
