Enrollment Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

Alpha Waypoint is redefining the school experience. Using an outdoor, experience-based approach, students develop independence, resilience, and practical skills while achieving strong academic results.

This role involves supporting families throughout the inquiry and enrollment journey, delivering clear, timely, and professional communication at every touchpoint. You will oversee daily correspondence, organize admissions activities, and keep precise records that enable informed decision-making. In this position, attention to detail and consistent follow-through are essential.

Your work will take place in both remote and on-site environments as you help families navigate a school model that differs significantly from conventional education. Your capacity to communicate effectively, maintain organization, and deliver a seamless experience will have a direct influence on enrollment outcomes and family confidence.

If you value responsiveness, prioritize accuracy, and are committed to delivering results, this position provides an opportunity to support a mission-driven, growing school while strengthening your operational and communication expertise.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, professional, and clear responses to prospective families
  • Lead families through each stage of the admissions process with structured follow-up and defined next actions
  • Plan and facilitate admissions activities, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings
  • Collaborate with campus teams to arrange student visits and deliver a cohesive experience
  • Keep admissions records current and accurate, monitoring all applications and subsequent outreach

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working exclusively in an administrative capacity with no direct family engagement
  • Functioning within a slow-moving or overly bureaucratic system
  • Concentrating solely on messaging without demonstrating strong execution and accountability
  • Setting admissions policy or making final decisions on enrollment

Key responsibilities

Deliver a transparent, responsive, and well-coordinated admissions process that drives enrollment success and cultivates positive family relationships.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable balancing remote work with in-person event responsibilities
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to attend in-person campus events

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations
  • Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families
