Director of Enrollment Management   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most enrollment leaders chase numbers. This role is designed to uphold standards.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses integrate rigorous academics with technology-enhanced learning and elevated expectations for both students and staff. Students reliably outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by verifiable data. Afternoons are dedicated to depth, independence, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But it depends entirely on enrolling the right families. That responsibility falls to you.

You will oversee the complete admissions process for a campus, spanning application to enrollment. This is not a coordination role. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate substantive discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not volume maximization. The objective is mutual fit.

We welcome candidates from high-caliber service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive concierge services, premium membership organizations, or entrepreneurs who have directly managed sophisticated client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a high-touch, phased process with discernment, precision, and accountability. If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experiential quality define the brand, this role will resonate. Apply now to apply that expertise to meaningful work.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, beginning with initial contact and concluding with onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-based consultations to assess alignment before proposing solutions or advising on subsequent steps.
  • Coordinating 20+ concurrent family relationships across varied enrollment phases, maintaining transparent status tracking and timely follow-up.
  • Directing campus tours, shadowing experiences, and decision-stage discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales methodologies.
  • Admitting misaligned families to satisfy enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or operating within complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple functions.
  • Working from a remote location. This position is campus-based by necessity.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that secures well-aligned families while safeguarding the performance and credibility of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand standing (education, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership organizations, or owner-managed services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process spanning initial inquiry through final onboarding.
  • Track record managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family accounts at varying stages, supported by a structured tracking and prioritization approach.
  • Capacity to supply specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances where you advised against your own offering due to poor fit.
  • Professional correspondence experience with senior leadership, high-net-worth clientele, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN, Tulsa, OK, or Southlake, TX.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in selective private school admissions or enrollment for competitive programs.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level concierge roles.
  • History of developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion quality, not merely velocity.
