Director of Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most admissions positions prioritize volume. This one prioritizes integrity.

Alpha is constructing a school model that is among the most ambitious in the world. Our campuses integrate rigorous academic programs, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for students and faculty. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoons focus on depth, autonomy, and practical skill development. The model is proven. But success depends on enrolling the right families. That is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete admissions experience for a campus—from initial inquiry to final enrollment. This is not a coordination role. You own how families engage with us, how accurately they grasp our philosophy, and whether enrollment choices are made with clarity and purpose. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful discussions, and decline applicants when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize seats filled. The objective is to ensure mutual fit.

We welcome applicants from high-service industries outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurs who have personally directed premium client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a sophisticated, phased process with sound judgment, transparency, and accountability. If your career has been defined by delivering exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experience distinguish the brand, this position will resonate. Apply now to apply that excellence to meaningful work.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment process for prospective families, beginning with initial outreach and continuing through onboarding.
  • Facilitating exploratory discussions to evaluate alignment before proposing solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varying enrollment stages, with transparent tracking of progress and follow-up requirements.
  • Directing campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment consultations that articulate outcomes, standards, and the ideal candidate profile.
  • Ensuring precise CRM documentation and enrollment data entry (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, task prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive enrollment strategies.
  • Accepting families who lack alignment simply to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or navigating complex hierarchical structures.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple staff members.
  • Operating remotely. This position requires on-campus presence.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a relationship-driven, standards-focused enrollment process that secures the right families while safeguarding the quality and outcomes of the Alpha educational model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing elevated, tailored service in settings where the quality of service directly influences organizational reputation (education, premium hospitality, executive-level support, exclusive membership organizations, or independently run service businesses).
  • Proven experience owning a complete client, admissions, or enrollment pathway from initial engagement through final onboarding.
  • Track record of managing 20+ simultaneous client, guest, or family interactions across multiple stages, supported by an organized tracking and prioritization approach.
  • Capacity to share specific examples of advisory-based decision-making, including instances where you recommended against your offering when it did not serve the client's interests.
  • Proficiency in professional written correspondence with C-level executives, affluent individuals, or discerning clientele.
  • Readiness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to Denver, CO or Park City, UT.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Professional history in premium hospitality, VIP client services, or senior executive support.
  • Experience designing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service excellence frameworks.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance enrollment alignment, not merely transaction velocity.
