Director of Admissions and Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most admissions positions prioritize maximizing numbers. This position exists to uphold quality.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-thinking school frameworks. Our locations combine demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely progress ahead of national performance indicators, supported by measurable results. Afternoon hours are dedicated to deeper exploration, independent work, and practical competency development. The approach is effective. But its success depends on selecting compatible families. That defines your mission.

You will direct the admissions process for a campus location, spanning initial inquiry to final enrollment. This is not a coordination position. You hold accountability for the family's experience with us, their comprehension of our framework, and the soundness of enrollment decisions. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed discussions, and advise against enrollment when circumstances warrant. The objective is not filling seats. The objective is achieving mutual alignment.

We welcome applicants from distinguished service backgrounds outside conventional schooling: independent schools, competitive admissions programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership institutions, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen premium client experiences from beginning to end. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, phased engagement with discernment, transparency, and accountability. If your professional background centers on delivering exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experience integrity shape reputation, this opportunity will resonate. Apply now to apply that caliber to meaningful work.

What you will be doing

  • Directing the complete enrollment experience for interested families, from initial outreach through integration.
  • Facilitating discovery discussions to evaluate compatibility before offering recommendations or proposing pathways.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment phases, with transparent tracking of progress and follow-up actions.
  • Facilitating site visits, student immersion experiences, and enrollment dialogues that articulate results, standards, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Sustaining precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable projection accuracy, priority management, and experience excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive conversion strategies.
  • Accepting families with poor alignment simply to satisfy quotas.
  • Supervising large teams or working through complex hierarchical structures.
  • Distributing responsibility for family engagement across multiple personnel.
  • Operating from a remote location. This position requires on-campus presence.

Key responsibilities

Direct and implement a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that successfully enrolls compatible families while safeguarding the credibility and effectiveness of the Alpha framework.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing distinguished, customized service in settings where experience quality directly influences organizational reputation (education, premium hospitality, executive administration, exclusive membership services, or independently operated client services).
  • Verified responsibility for a complete client, admissions, or enrollment lifecycle from initial engagement through integration.
  • Background managing 20+ client, guest, or family interactions concurrently at varying stages, supported by a documented approach to monitoring and prioritization.
  • Capacity to supply specific illustrations of advisory decision-making, including instances where you discouraged purchase or participation when alignment was insufficient.
  • Professional correspondence experience with executive leadership, affluent clients, or discerning stakeholders.
  • Readiness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN, Tulsa, OK, or Southlake, TX.
  • Work authorization in the United States without need for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive independent school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Experience in premium hospitality, distinguished guest relations, or executive support capacities.
  • Track record developing or enhancing enrollment workflows, operational protocols, or service benchmarks.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analysis to strengthen enrollment alignment, not merely pace.
