Director of Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

While most enrollment positions prioritize volume, this role is designed to uphold standards.

Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking school models globally. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled learning, and elevated expectations for both students and staff. Students routinely progress faster than national averages, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoons are dedicated to depth, autonomy, and practical skill development. The model is proven. Its success, however, depends on enrolling the right families. This is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete admissions process for a campus, spanning application to enrollment. This is not a role where work is passed between functions. You own how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with clarity. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate informed discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. Maximum enrollment is not the objective. Alignment is.

We welcome candidates from high-caliber service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, executive hospitality, senior-level client support, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen high-value client experiences from beginning to end. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, multi-phase process with discernment, precision, and accountability. If your career has been defined by delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experience integrity shape the brand, this role will resonate. Apply now to apply that caliber to meaningful work.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment process for prospective families, from initial outreach to onboarding completion.
  • Facilitating needs-based discussions to assess alignment before proposing solutions or advising on next actions.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varying enrollment stages, maintaining full transparency on status and next steps.
  • Directing campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment conversations that articulate outcomes, standards, and model suitability.
  • Ensuring precision in CRM and enrollment system updates (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Admitting families who lack alignment to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple departments.
  • Operating remotely. This position is campus-based by necessity.

Key responsibilities

Own and deliver a high-integrity, high-selectivity enrollment process that secures aligned families while safeguarding the excellence and performance of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand standing (education, executive hospitality, high-level client support, exclusive membership organizations, or owner-managed services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships across multiple stages, supported by a structured tracking and prioritization approach.
  • Capacity to share specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances where you advised against your offering when fit was absent.
  • Professional correspondence experience with C-level executives, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Atlanta, GA; or Boston, MA.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Background in executive hospitality, VIP client services, or C-suite support functions.
  • Experience designing or optimizing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM tools to enhance conversion alignment, not merely velocity.
