Director of Admissions and Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

While most enrollment positions prioritize volume, this one is designed to uphold standards.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses integrate rigorous academics, technology-enabled learning, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely exceed national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons are dedicated to deeper exploration, independent work, and practical skill development. The model is proven. However, its success depends on enrolling the right families. That is your mandate.

You will manage the complete admissions process for a campus, spanning initial application to final enrollment. This is not a role with divided ownership. You are accountable for the family experience, the clarity with which they comprehend our model, and ensuring enrollment decisions are made with proper alignment. You will evaluate fit, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advocate for rejection when appropriate. Maximum enrollment is not the objective. Alignment is.

We welcome candidates from premium service sectors outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen high-stakes client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a nuanced, multi-phase process with sound judgment, precision, and accountability. If your career has been defined by delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experiential quality are brand-defining, this role will resonate. Apply now to bring that rigor to work of consequence.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial engagement to onboarding completion.
  • Facilitating consultative conversations to evaluate alignment before advancing solutions or enrollment recommendations.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships across various enrollment stages, with transparent tracking and follow-up protocols.
  • Guiding campus visits, student shadow days, and decision-oriented discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and model suitability.
  • Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment data management (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales approaches.
  • Accepting families with poor alignment to satisfy enrollment targets.
  • Leading a sizable team or navigating complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple contributors.
  • Operating remotely. This position is inherently campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that secures the right families while safeguarding the credibility and outcomes of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership, or owner-managed services).
  • Proven ownership of a full-cycle client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family interactions across different phases, supported by a defined tracking and prioritization methodology.
  • Capacity to supply specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances where you recommended against your offering due to misalignment.
  • Professional written communication proficiency with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Atlanta, GA; or Boston, MA.
  • U.S. work authorization without need for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, VIP concierge services, or executive support functions.
  • Track record developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM intelligence to enhance conversion quality, not merely velocity.
