Admissions Representative   $75,000 USD/year

Description

Alpha School is transforming the landscape of education. By combining AI-powered learning, progression based on mastery, and outstanding guides, Alpha enables students to explore deep interests while delivering exceptional academic results.

In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, making certain that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's transparency, care, and high standards. You will manage day-to-day correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and keep precise applicant data that supports sound decision-making.

If you excel in a dynamic, purpose-driven setting—where promptness, structure, and accuracy have a direct effect on family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role combines remote flexibility with consistent in-person participation at admissions activities.

What you will be doing

  • Addressing inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours through clear, professional, and Alpha-consistent messaging
  • Coordinating and delivering admissions events, campus tours, and student shadow experiences from planning through post-event follow-up
  • Ensuring complete and precise applicant records are maintained in CRM and admissions systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to present Alpha's educational model, answer questions, and document key information
  • Working closely with campus and admissions teams to sustain an effective and streamlined admissions process

What you will NOT be doing

  • Rendering final admissions decisions or shaping enrollment policy
  • Delivering instruction or managing curriculum content
  • Employing aggressive sales methods or formulaic outreach scripts
  • Working in an unstructured or slow-paced environment

Key responsibilities

Provide a seamless, high-conversion admissions journey that turns initial curiosity into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about joining Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience in admissions, enrollment, events, or related fields
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated attention to data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Ability to work on-site in Scottsdale, AZ
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
