Admissions Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

Alpha School is transforming the landscape of education. By integrating AI-powered learning, progression anchored in mastery, and outstanding educator guides, Alpha enables students to explore their passions deeply while delivering exceptional academic results.

As the Admissions Coordinator, you will guide each prospective family from initial inquiry through final enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, hospitality, and academic standards. Your responsibilities include managing routine communications, organizing impactful admissions experiences, and keeping applicant data systems accurate to support sound decision-making.

If you excel in dynamic, purpose-driven settings—where timely responses, meticulous organization, and careful detail directly influence family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role combines remote flexibility with consistent in-person participation at admissions activities.

What you will be doing

  • Addressing inquiries from prospective families within a 24-hour window, using communication that is clear, professional, and consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing and delivering admissions events, campus visits, and shadow day experiences, handling everything from logistical planning to post-event outreach
  • Ensuring applicant records remain comprehensive and precise across CRM systems and admissions software
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational approach, respond to questions, and document meaningful observations
  • Working alongside campus and admissions teams to sustain a cohesive and efficient enrollment process

What you will NOT be doing

  • Rendering final admissions verdicts or shaping enrollment policy
  • Delivering instruction or managing academic curriculum
  • Employing aggressive sales methods or formulaic messaging
  • Functioning within a disorganized or sluggish operational setting

Key responsibilities

Provide a polished, high-conversion admissions journey that converts early interest into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about becoming part of Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of client-facing experience in admissions, enrollment, event coordination, or comparable fields
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience engaging families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience operating within a CRM, student information system, or similar database, with proven commitment to data precision
  • Robust organizational abilities with capacity to juggle multiple concurrent workflows
  • Ability to work on-site in Scottsdale, AZ
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Experience in education, enrollment management, or school administration
  • Prior involvement in coordinating admissions events or high-engagement onboarding sequences
  • Ease operating in rapidly evolving, technology-driven environments
