Campus Operations Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If you spot disorder and naturally map out the fix, this role will suit you. Alpha serves students who advance quickly, seek challenge, and handle real accountability. We combine demanding academics with practical life skills and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework so students progress with speed and confidence. We are looking for an operator who can transform a dynamic school environment into a reliable, high-performing system—every transition, every interaction, every element executed correctly.

At our Austin location, you will be the engine that powers daily operations: protecting time for concentrated learning, managing safe and efficient processes, and removing friction so Guides can mentor without distraction. You will control facility workflows, frontline technical support, and family communication, building a setting where ambition is expected and independence is cultivated. If you value clear standards, fast decision-making, and measurable results, this role is designed for you.

Apply to build a campus where students accelerate their learning, families experience the impact, and operational precision is the foundation of everything we do.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the daily schedule with accuracy so 2-Hour Learning sessions begin promptly, remain uninterrupted, and conclude effectively.
  • Providing initial technology support (equipment configuration, basic diagnostics) and coordinating escalations with IT teams.
  • Ensuring a secure, orderly campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility preparedness.
  • Communicating effectively with students, families, and colleagues; resolving issues quickly and recording outcomes.
  • Facilitating campus events—onboarding sessions, milestones, inventory and space planning—so the environment consistently feels organized.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or designing curriculum; Guides manage student mentorship while you maintain operational systems.
  • Working from a remote office; your role is visible and directly connected to student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Engaging in low-value tasks that do not enhance speed, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, prepared, and conducive to learning so that students and staff can concentrate on development and achievement rather than operational concerns.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or similar high-touch service settings.
  • Composed under pressure; forward-thinking problem-solver capable of balancing multiple demands without sacrificing precision.
  • Proficient in basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace management.
  • Strong, professional written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship not available).
