Campus Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If you see disorder and immediately draft a system to fix it, this role will suit you well. Alpha serves students who accelerate quickly, seek meaningful challenge, and are ready for genuine responsibility. We combine demanding academics with practical life skills and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework that enables students to advance with speed and confidence. We are looking for someone who can transform a dynamic school day into a reliable, high-performing operation—every transition, every handoff, every element executed precisely.

At our Austin location, you will be the engine that powers daily performance: protecting focused learning time, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and removing barriers so Guides can dedicate full attention to mentorship. You will manage facility logistics, frontline technology support, and family communication, building an environment where ambition is the standard and independence is deliberately cultivated. If you value clear expectations, decisive action, and measurable results, this work is designed for you.

Apply to build a campus where students progress faster, families see tangible impact, and operational discipline is the foundation of everything we do.

What you will be doing

  • Executing the daily schedule with accuracy so that 2-Hour Learning sessions begin promptly, remain distraction-free, and conclude effectively.
  • Managing initial technology requests (device configuration, basic diagnostics) and coordinating advanced issues with IT.
  • Overseeing a secure, well-ordered campus: emergency drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility preparedness.
  • Delivering clear communication to students, families, and colleagues; resolving issues quickly and recording key decisions.
  • Enabling campus events—orientation, special programs, inventory and space planning—so the site consistently operates at full readiness.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or designing curriculum; Guides handle student mentorship while you ensure the systems run smoothly.
  • Working from a back office; your role is visible, operational, and directly connected to student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Wasting time on tasks that do not enhance speed, safety, or the quality of the learning experience.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, prepared, and functional so that students and staff can concentrate on learning and development rather than operational concerns.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 2+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a similar high-contact service setting.
  • Composed under pressure; self-directed problem-solver capable of managing competing demands without sacrificing precision.
  • Proficient with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration.
  • Professional, transparent written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (no visa sponsorship available).
