Campus Operations Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Austin campus.

If you instinctively organize complexity and design the playbook when others see disorder, this role will suit you. Alpha serves students who accelerate quickly, seek challenge, and embrace genuine responsibility. We combine demanding academics with practical life skills and a focused 2-Hour Learning framework so children progress with speed and confidence. We're looking for a systems builder who can transform a dynamic school day into a seamless, high-performing operation—every transition, every handoff, every element executed precisely.

At our Austin location, you'll be the steady force maintaining momentum: protecting time for concentrated learning, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and removing friction so Guides can mentor at peak effectiveness. You'll manage facilities coordination, frontline technical support, and family communication, cultivating an environment where ambition is the baseline and independence is developed intentionally. If you value clear standards, decisive action, and measurable results, this work will engage you.

Apply to build a campus where students advance faster, families experience the impact, and operational precision is the foundation supporting everything.

What you will be doing

  • Executing the daily schedule with accuracy so 2-Hour Learning sessions begin punctually, maintain focus, and conclude effectively.
  • Managing frontline technical needs (device configuration, initial troubleshooting) and coordinating handoffs to IT when necessary.
  • Upholding a secure, organized campus: safety drills, incident documentation, vendor management, and facility preparedness.
  • Communicating effectively with students, families, and colleagues; resolving issues promptly and recording outcomes.
  • Enabling campus events—onboarding, milestones, inventory and space coordination—so the environment consistently feels ready.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or developing curriculum; Guides own student mentorship while you operate the infrastructure.
  • Working remotely from an administrative space; your role is visible, forward-facing, and directly connected to student outcomes and family confidence.
  • Investing time in low-value tasks that fail to enhance speed, safety, or learning quality.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a campus environment that is consistently safe, prepared, and conducive to focus, enabling students and staff to prioritize learning and development rather than operational distractions.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 2+ years managing multifaceted operations in education, events, hospitality, or another client-facing, service-intensive setting.
  • Composed under pressure; self-starting problem-solver capable of balancing competing demands while maintaining precision.
  • Proficient with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration.
  • Professional, respectful written and spoken communication that builds trust.
  • Work authorization for the U.S.; able to work on-site in Austin, TX (visa sponsorship unavailable).
