Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person role at our Austin campus. If you see chaos and instinctively sketch the playbook, you'll feel right at home here. Alpha exists for students who learn faster, crave challenge, and want real responsibility. We pair rigorous academics with life skills and a tight 2-Hour Learning model so kids move quickly and confidently. We need a builder who can turn a busy school day into a smooth, high-performance system—every bell, every handoff, every detail on point. At our Austin site, you'll be the force that keeps the engine humming: safeguarding time for focused learning, running safe and orderly operations, and clearing obstacles so Guides can mentor at full capacity. You'll own facilities flow, front-line tech support, and community communications, creating an environment where ambition is normal and independence is trained. If you like crisp standards, quick decisions, and visible outcomes, this is the work for you. Apply to shape a campus where students learn faster, families feel the difference, and operational excellence is the quiet power behind it all.

What you will be doing

  • Running the daily schedule with precision so the 2-Hour Learning blocks start on time, stay quiet, and finish strong.
  • Handling first-line tech needs (device setup, basic troubleshooting) and coordinating escalations with IT.
  • Maintaining a safe, orderly campus: drills, incident tracking, vendor oversight, and facilities readiness.
  • Communicating clearly with students, families, and staff; closing loops fast and documenting decisions.
  • Supporting campus milestones—events, onboarding, supply and space management—so the site always feels prepared.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching academics or writing curriculum; Guides lead student mentorship while you drive the systems.
  • Sitting in a back office; your work is front-of-house and directly tied to student progress and family trust.
  • Spending time on busywork that doesn't improve speed, safety, or quality of learning.

Key responsibilities

Ensure the campus environment is always safe, ready, and supportive so that students and staff can focus on learning and growth, not logistics.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 2+ years running multi-part operations in education, events, hospitality, or another high-service environment.
  • Calm under pressure; proactive problem-solver who can juggle priorities without losing accuracy.
  • Comfortable with basic IT support and Google Workspace administration.
  • Clear, respectful written and verbal communication that earns confidence.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; available to work on-site in Austin, TX (no visa sponsorship).
