Description

You've delivered systems under extreme pressure: multi-billion-dollar expansions, high-stakes site launches, and transformations where failure was not an option. Now you'll take full ownership of a national infrastructure mandate.

2 Hour Learning is scaling a validated K–12 model across the United States. In the next six months, we will launch 25–30 campuses, each demanding new construction, major facility upgrades, and bulletproof operational frameworks. We need an elite operator to command this entire vertical: delivering, improving, and maintaining the physical infrastructure that enables our schools to execute their mission. Without ready facilities, nothing else moves forward.

This is not a strategic oversight position. It's an execution-driven mandate with capital backing, tight deadlines, and real authority. You will lead an SVP and a full team of VPs, analysts, and external vendors. You will control budgets and hiring. And you will be accountable for launching new campuses, upgrading existing sites, implementing global standards, and creating AI-powered playbooks that make future rollouts faster, more cost-effective, and smarter.

2 Hour Learning operates Alpha, NextGen Academy, GT School, Texas Sports Academy, and other schools — a rapidly expanding network built on a single proven principle: students can accomplish a full year of academic progress in just two focused hours daily. The remainder of the day belongs to them for athletics, arts, exploration, or personal development. We are backed by private equity, fully capitalized, and scaling nationwide.

This role is designed for operators who excel where there is zero margin for error. If you've been told you operate too quickly for most organizations, this is the one that will match your pace.

What you will be doing

  • Taking full ownership of the national facilities vertical: executing new builds, significant upgrades, and scalable operational systems across 25–30 campuses
  • Building and leading a team (SVP + VPs + staff), with complete P&L responsibility for the facilities function
  • Creating and enforcing global standards across procurement, security, furniture, networking, and signage
  • Designing and deploying AI-driven playbooks and SLAs that eliminate inefficiency and speed up every expansion cycle
  • Reporting directly to the founder and coordinating with legal, finance, and regulatory counterparts to meet hard go-live deadlines

What you will NOT be doing

  • Advising from the outside — you will be the decision-maker
  • Running isolated single-site projects — your mandate is national and systemic
  • Maintaining legacy processes — you will design and deploy new, AI-enabled playbooks
  • Waiting for executive input — this role leads the expansion, not responds to it

Key responsibilities

Deliver, improve, and sustain facilities nationwide — ensuring every campus is student-ready, delivered on schedule, and supported by scalable, AI-powered systems.

Candidate requirements

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Proven track record directing complex, multi-site execution initiatives with compressed timelines and significant real-world stakes
  • Direct oversight of new construction, large-scale facility upgrades, and operational systems at national or global scale
  • Hands-on experience with retail buildouts and/or large-scale maintenance operations, where launch readiness and standardization were mission-critical
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and lead high-performing teams, with full budget/P&L responsibility
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills
  • Comfort operating with urgency, autonomy, and accountability in high-growth or PE-backed environments
  • U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel ~25%

  • Experience launching or scaling regulated, multi-site operations
  • Background in education, retail, or healthcare expansion where facilities were a critical dependency
  • Track record of designing and deploying AI-driven operational systems
