Description

You have delivered systems designed to withstand pressure: billion-dollar initiatives, expansions with high stakes, and multi-location transformations where postponement was not an option. Now is the moment to assume complete ownership of a national-scale mandate.

2 Hour Learning is expanding a validated K–12 framework throughout the United States. Within the coming six months, we will open 25–30 school sites, each demanding new construction, substantial renovations, and reliable operational infrastructure. We are recruiting an elite operator to control this entire function: delivering, refining, and maintaining the physical settings in which our schools carry out their purpose. Without functional facilities, no other activities can proceed.

This is not a position of portfolio supervision. It is an execution charge supported by funding, time sensitivity, and decision-making power. You will manage an SVP and a comprehensive team composed of VPs, analysts, and external vendors. You will control budget allocation and staffing choices. And you will be responsible for establishing new campuses, enhancing current ones, instituting global benchmarks, and creating AI-enabled frameworks that render future growth faster, more economical, and more intelligent.

2 Hour Learning drives Alpha, NextGen Academy, GT School, Texas Sports Academy, and additional institutions — a rapidly expanding network of schools founded on a single validated concept: students can accomplish a complete year of academic progress in only two concentrated hours each day. The remainder of their day is available for athletics, creative pursuits, discovery, or personal interests. We are private equity-supported, fully capitalized, and expanding nationally.

This position is intended for operators who excel in contexts where the tolerance for mistakes is nonexistent. If you have been informed that you operate too quickly for most organizations, this is the environment that will match your velocity.

What you will be doing

  • Controlling the national facilities function: executing new constructions, significant renovations, and enduring operational frameworks across 25–30 school sites
  • Directing and expanding a team (SVP + VPs + personnel), holding complete P&L responsibility for the facilities function
  • Creating and applying universal standards for sourcing, security measures, furnishings, network infrastructure, and branding materials
  • Constructing and deploying AI-enabled frameworks and service-level agreements that reduce obstacles and expedite every growth phase
  • Providing updates directly to the founder while aligning with legal, financial, and compliance counterparts to meet mandatory launch timelines

What you will NOT be doing

  • Offering recommendations from a distance — you will be the decision-maker
  • Overseeing isolated single-location initiatives — your remit is national and structural
  • Maintaining obsolete workflows — you will architect and install new, AI-powered frameworks
  • Awaiting executive guidance — this position propels the expansion rather than responding to it

Key responsibilities

Execute, refine, and sustain facilities on a national scale — guaranteeing every campus is prepared for students, delivered punctually, and supported by scalable, AI-powered infrastructure.

Candidate requirements

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Confirmed history directing complicated, multi-location implementation initiatives with constrained timelines and tangible consequences
  • Direct oversight of new construction, extensive renovation projects, and operational infrastructure at national or global scope
  • Practical involvement with retail construction and/or extensive maintenance operations, where opening preparedness and uniformity were essential
  • Verified capability to assemble and lead high-performing teams, with complete budget/P&L control
  • Outstanding structured analytical thinking, stakeholder coordination, and communication capabilities
  • Proficiency functioning with urgency, independence, and responsibility in rapid-growth or PE-supported settings
  • U.S. work authorization and readiness to travel approximately 25%
