Description

Trust is the foundation of every campus. This role ensures that foundation remains strong, reliable, and uniform across all locations.

You will serve as the national lead for campus operations—not just on paper, but in execution. Your responsibility includes leading, coaching, and managing accountability across a network of 30+ Campus Coordinators and Lead Campus Coordinators who function as the operational core and primary point of contact at each school. When operational failures, inconsistencies, or risks emerge at the site level, they become your priority.

This position was created because operational excellence at a single campus is insufficient. Families depend on uniform standards of safety, hospitality, professionalism, and responsiveness at every location. You will establish the policies, operational frameworks, and management infrastructure required to deliver that consistency. Your work will involve closing gaps, eliminating ambiguity, and creating standardized campus operations that preserve both accountability and human connection.

If you have ever observed a geographically distributed team and recognized the opportunity to make it significantly more consistent, scalable, and professional, this role is designed for you.

What you will be doing

  • Serve as the national leader of the Campus Coordinator function, overseeing all aspects of hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and termination decisions as required
  • Define and standardize operational policies at the campus level, encompassing safety, compliance, family experience, and front-of-house execution
  • Collaborate with Campus Coordinators and Lead CCs to surface policy deficiencies, recurring operational challenges, and execution inconsistencies, then address them systemically
  • Develop comprehensive playbooks, standard operating procedures, and training resources that convert organizational expectations into observable campus behavior
  • Define performance benchmarks, establish review rhythms, and create escalation protocols to ensure rapid and consistent issue resolution
  • Conduct regular operational audits across campuses to confirm that policies are comprehended, implemented, and driving better outcomes for families and staff

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing daily operations at a single campus location
  • Focusing primarily on facilities improvements or construction project management
  • Developing policies that remain theoretical documents rather than influencing actual practice
  • Functioning as a passive HR liaison rather than a hands-on people leader
  • Tolerating "this is how we've always done it here" as justification for inconsistency

Key responsibilities

Drive consistent, high-quality operational execution across all campuses by leading the Campus Coordinator function, defining operational policy, and maintaining accountability to established standards.

Candidate requirements

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in operations, people management, or multi-site operational environments where consistency and execution are critical
  • Demonstrated track record hiring, coaching, and managing performance of front-line operational leaders at scale
  • Sound judgment in areas including safety, compliance, customer experience, and risk management
  • Proven capability to identify policy deficiencies and convert ambiguity into clear, actionable standards
  • Confidence delivering candid feedback and making difficult decisions when performance does not meet expectations
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across U.S. campus locations
  • U.S.-based and authorized to work without requiring sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Professional experience in education, hospitality, healthcare, or other high-trust, customer-facing sectors
  • History of developing centralized training programs, playbooks, or operational standards for geographically distributed teams
  • Experience transitioning from managing individual contributors to leading other managers
