Description

You are not looking to "assist with operations." You want to control the infrastructure that enables a rapidly scaling education platform to launch new schools cleanly—without billing errors, data issues, or access delays on day one. If you thrive on transforming chaotic, manual workflows into streamlined systems that operate autonomously, continue reading. If you prefer a limited scope where you simply execute predefined playbooks, this role will not be a good fit.

2 Hour Learning is demonstrating that school can function in a fundamentally different way. Through an AI tutor and individualized learning paths, students achieve mastery of core subjects in just two hours daily, with performance placing them in the top 1–2% nationally. Supporting that achievement is a critical operational reality: schools must be onboarded quickly, invoiced accurately, and tracked reliably across multiple systems and varied launch schedules.

In this position, you will take full ownership of end-to-end school onboarding operations—including SIS configuration, rostering, credential management, testing logistics, and platform readiness. You will manage billing and accounts receivable workflows through systems like NetSuite and Stripe. You will also create automated data pipelines and deliver weekly leadership reporting by integrating platforms such as SIS, HubSpot, and financial tools. Your competitive advantage is automation: you will leverage AI and technologies like Python, Apps Script, Zapier, or Make to eliminate repetitive manual tasks.

What you will be doing

  • Manage complete onboarding workflows for new schools, covering SIS setup, rostering, credential provisioning, testing coordination (MAP/NWEA), and launch preparation
  • Take ownership of invoicing and accounts receivable operations, including payment link generation, invoice scheduling, balance reconciliation, and overdue payment tracking
  • Create and sustain automated reporting pipelines that consolidate data from SIS, HubSpot, NetSuite, and other operational platforms into weekly leadership dashboards
  • Develop and deploy automation workflows utilizing AI and platforms like Python, Apps Script, Zapier, or Make to remove recurring manual operational tasks
  • Engage daily with school partners, finance teams, and internal stakeholders to clear obstacles and ensure launches, billing, and reporting remain on schedule

What you will NOT be doing

  • Manually reconstructing the same reports each week
  • Serving as a project coordinator without genuine operational accountability for results
  • Handling operations that only affect internal workflows while someone else owns the actual school-facing responsibilities
  • Increasing your workload by layering in more manual steps rather than automating processes

Key responsibilities

This role ensures new schools can be onboarded, invoiced, and managed at scale through automated, dependable, and repeatable operations and reporting systems.

Candidate requirements

  • Availability to work full-time remotely with a minimum of 6 hours overlap with US business hours on weekdays
  • Background managing client, customer, or partner onboarding processes across multiple stages and platforms
  • Experience creating invoices and overseeing billing and accounts receivable workflows
  • Track record building automated reports or data pipelines using spreadsheets, scripting, and/or analytics platforms
  • Proven active use of AI tools to automate or expedite operational tasks
  • Solid written communication abilities for engaging with external partners and internal colleagues

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, NetSuite, and/or Stripe in operations, billing, or reporting roles
  • Background integrating data across platforms (CRM, SIS, billing) to build operational dashboards
  • Familiarity coordinating testing setup processes (MAP/NWEA) as part of school or program onboarding
